As a CNC machinist in a tier 2 aerospace company, engaged in the

manufacturing of precision parts and assemblies for major aerospace

companies around the world. I was working on the highly sophisticated

modern CNC machines (Mazak 730 5 axis II pallet, Mazak FH 4800, 5800) & the

materials like Titanium, Steel, and alloy aluminum with very tight

tolerances up to 0.0002'' to 0.010''. Along with working I am Inspecting

the machined parts using the measuring instruments like vernier caliper,

micrometer, bore gauges, slip gauges and other basic tools Preparing

the inspection data sheet (SPC chart), Working with coworkers in solving

problems related to quality of the parts, small -medium machine breakdowns,

verifying dimensions as per blue print, and maintaining the 5S standard in

the plant. Also monitor the productivity along with the quality. Understand

the lean manufacturing and JIT system and make sure the parts finished in

cost effective manners.
