GE Lighting March 2012 to November 2014
Senior IT leader for a global SAP implementation of all financial modules including FI/CO/PA, GL, AP, AR, PS, FS,
FSCM.
Provided support to the Functional teams developing a global blueprint, subsequent RICEFW development – including
Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, unit-testing. Trained all functional leads on how to develop
blueprints, string-testing, and four Integration testing waves. This lead to a European go-live on ECC 6.0 in August
2014. Coordinated GE interests between the integration team (SAP) and the implementation team (WIPRO).
Developed GE standards for documentation, development, coding, and interface. Sustained a working relationship
with the BASIS team and the PI team to Spec, code in ABAP, and test 87 interfaces for GE Finance. Also coded 30
enhancements as we pushed thru 140 RICEFW requirements. Championed use of Solution Manager and HPQC to
coordinate and execute string testing, IT1, IT2, IT3, and IT4 testing, plus dry run, go-live and post-go-live support.
Acted as liaison between development teams in India, configuration team in Budapest Hungary, and business leads in
Cleveland Ohio. Communicated with numerous departments in GE affiliates to design and develop necessary
interfaces for intra-company billing, corporate reporting, and other legacy processes. Assisted the GE Corporate team
developing the installation of Perceptive document scanning for AP invoices and SAP billing documents.

Coordinated and implemented projects in the SAP FI/CO area, with emphasis on CRM, Pricing, SD and MM/PP
interfaces. Implemented configuration and coding changes for tax audit extracts, general audits, AP and AR reporting,
Borrowing Base reporting, Automated Clearing House (ACH) implementation including configuration and banking

Joined as a development team member on a project to convert MVS COBOL to SAP, making modification to SAP
pricing module, and a series of credit card authorizations and reporting projects. Eventually, was asked to support
ECC 6.0 systems and BW systems in configuration and ABAP changes for SD, MM/PP, APO, and FI/CO. Designed
and coded an intricate trickle data Intra-day Sales report in the POS/DM system. Managed special projects in the BW
systems, including picking up work that a previous consultant had started working on; sales reports, Credit card
reports, reconciliation, Point-of-Sale activity reports, etc. Managed a Store Ops project to roll out their POSDM
system when a consultant became ill. Proficient in POSDM Workbench and began working with WebSphere.
Tremco Incorporated November 2007 to November 2008
Joined the corporate ABAP team as a staff member and also aided the programming manager. Provided configuration
support to MM/PP system as well as numerous ABAP tasks, modified ECC 6.0 report programs in SD MM/PP, FI/CO,
SO, PO, CRM plus several interfaces with outside entities, including a customer service webpage, A/R lockbox.
Designed and wrote new ALV reports for Service Orders, Contract Costs, Invoice Print, QA Maintenance Planning,
Inspection Date Bundling, Forecasting Accuracy, and Gross Margin. Worked with SAP GUIXT, UNIX interfaces,
lockbox, contract maintenance, GL reporting. Integrated closely with a highly results oriented functional group to
manage a large backlog workload, reducing it from 12 months to 3 months.
BASF Chemical June 2007 to November 2007
Developed functional and technical specifications to facilitate a company merger onto a corporate SAP system.
Interfaced extensively with the users and the IT department to develop a plan to identify and plug gaps in the ERP
processes in MM, SM, SD and IO. Supported the efforts of the FI/CO group to identify functions that may need to be
migrated to the new systems or integrated into the new corporate environment. Advised the project manager on ways
to develop his project plans and help build his team. Reviewed BAPI, IDocs, and other interfaces to do gaps analysis
for a conversion from SAP 4.6 to 4.7.
Lincoln Electric Part time Contract as needed. January 2003 to June 2007
Worked with conversion teams upgrading to 4.7 systems. Created forms with Planet Press to do product labels,
shipping labels, and interface the production from the SAP 4.7 system. Supported various MM/PP configuration
changes. Designed and coded ABAP programs to facilitate the label creation, archive, report, and log serial numbers
of product. Assisted the MIS management with changes to their IT quality process.
Goodyear Tire and Rubber June 1994 to August 2002
Joined the Genesis team as a developer and began coding interfaces between the newly installed R/2 system and
existing legacy systems. Participated in and managed conversions to upgrade R/2 (twice) and convert to R/3 4.5, 4.6
and 4.7. Worked as DBA, Basis, configurator, and ABAP developer on FI/CO, SD, MM/PP, and CRM. Coded ABAP
extensions, interfaces, reports, and function modules. Created DB tables and views. Managed teams that did Y2K
analysis for two SAP instances and two legacy systems. Four full cycle implementations plus 3 upgrades. Taught a
class called ‘How to write efficient ABAP code’.
