where I focus on helping children learn new cognitive development skills
while learning how to interact with others. At this learning center, I
volunteer to help children around the classroom while honing my skills in
juvenile development
In-Home Assisted Living May 2014 -
August 2014
Cared over a patient that was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. This
experience consisted of dealing with his difficultly of loss of memory and
trying to help him with the depression that comes from the disease. I
balanced cooking meals and cleaning up after the patient, plus bathed, fed,
and made sure that no harm occurred to him. My accomplishments from this
position were gaining the experience of learning how to work with adults
undergoing difficult trauma, while being responsible for caring for them
and their needs.
Studebaker Young Adult Program January 2014

The young adult program at Studebaker focuses on young adults with
disabilities and disorders on taking the next step in their future. At
Studebaker, I worked with young adults with Down Syndrome and Autism to
develop self-advocacy skills and a better understanding of how to increase
their success in everyday experiences at home, in the classroom, and in the
community.

As a CPR certified employee, I was responsible for administering passes to
students and guests answering and directing phone calls, and being
responsible for athletes' health and well-being.

Was responsible for customer service and front-end data base fluency. I
also took orders for the drive-thru, worked as a barista, and helped with
custodial responsibilities

Majoring in Communicative Sciences and Disorders with a double minor in
Early Childhood Education and Psychology. My practices include speech and
sciences and education, while participating in therapy throughout various
internships and volunteer positions to further my education.
