Experience:
Custom Tech Sales, Inc. 1981-2014
President
Started my own manufacturer's representative organization selling
stampings, machining, plastic injection molding, as well as forgings,
investment, sand, perm mold and die castings to the truck and construction
engine markets. I am very conversant in steel, grey/ductile iron,
austempered iron, aluminum and brass metal products. I also have a
background selling stainless steel castings to the pump and valve
manufacturers.
Directed all sales on a territorial and/or an account basis. My customers
included Caterpillar, Navistar and Cummins. Started with a territory of
$350,000 of business and built it up to $36,000,000.
I worked with engineering and purchasing to improve casting quality and to
reduce costs. I've assisted my customers in the design of their components
to provide a functional part at the lowest possible costs. I have also
worked on many cost reduction projects for my customers.
