PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Designed and implemented a process scheduling simulation program using Java
7 in NetBeans IDE 8.0.2. This project included a 15 page write-up of my
object-oriented design, research methods, UML, diagrams, and results.
Being a member of the management team and the database group leader, I
developed the next iteration of OLI (Object Lab Interface) in collaboration
with 30 other classmates using Agile. OLI tracks material being used by
various 3D printers. To achieve this, we used Java 7 and SQL using NetBeans
IDE 8.0.2, MySQL Workbench 6.2, and GitHub.

I was the main point of contact for 120 Retailers of varying size and type
of business such as brick and mortar, e-commerce, and sub distributors.
Orders, filing claims, business protocols, and website support over the
phone or e-mail were just some of my daily responsibilities. Identifying a
need for the company, I created my own responsibilities which included
developing and updating protocols for handling weekly and monthly reports,
protocols for filing UPS claims, training new hires, training all employees
on new protocols, and managing new projects handed down from upper
management of various departments. This required me to organize, plan, and
collaborate on projects with other departments of over 200 employees and 8
different departments. I also created and updated training manuals for over
50 employees and contributed to a knowledge protocol database available to
all employees.

Being part of management, I held one of three keys to the store and shared
the responsibility of scheduling, hiring, and being a point of contact for
corporate. I oversaw 8 to 15 employees depending on the time of the year
and ensured there was proper coverage to meet our sales and marketing
goals. I was also in charge of weekly reports to district and regional
management, training, and inventory.

I was responsible for filling and maintaining stock for all prescription
medications. This included proper information and warnings labeled were on
each medication, verification of new prescriptions, and updating customer
information in the pharmacy's database. As part of these duties I also
helped to ensure that both computers and all mechanical equipment operated
correctly, completed doctor office callbacks, as well as face-to-face and
over the phone customer service. Beyond my regular responsibilities I also
trained new pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
