Recently, I have been assisting our LTL Project Manager with implementing
changes and updates in Oracle that are a result of the Office
Depot/OfficeMax Integration efforts. Transitioned with ease, the merging of
Office Depot/OfficeMax and took on additional work load that needed to be
completed.
I assisted the Project Management Team during May and June 2012 with the
Store to Store Replenishment Project. Pulled reports daily and contacted
our Office Depot stores via email and phone to ensure compliance with the
project. Overall, the project helped replenish $10 million in capital
benefit for Office Depot.
Assisted the Direct Import team with container invoices. Entered and saved
the information in Cargo Manager . Provided assistance during their audit
with documentation, filing and verifying information with Bank of America
and CashPro records.
Was awarded the "YES WE CAN" Service Champions Award in September 2006 at
YRC. Nominated by my Service Center Manager for accuracy and reducing costs
within the company and showcased in the "Yellow Transportation Weekly"

Initially started as a Terminal Operations Assistant in 2002 at YRC. Was

SENIOR TRANSPORTATION ANALYST
o Transmit EDI for all LTL Return orders in OTM to the DC's daily.
o Troubleshoot any EDI issues that arise with the IT Department.
o Assist with IT Testing in PERF (Performance) Environment.
o Complete and create the Return orders in OTM after being notified by
the Carriers and provide all paperwork for Return orders.
o Transmitting EDI for all Returns created and Carrier notification via
email.
o Transmit EDI for all LTL Return orders in OTM to the DC's daily.
o Documentation of all Claims information to be submitted to the Carrier
Claims Departments.
o Working closely with the Carrier Account Representatives and the
carriers to ensure all issues that arise are handled and resolved in a
timely manner.
o Work closely with our Customer Service Department to ensure the
customer deliveries and returns are completed properly.
o Provide approval for any additional Accessorial or Reconsignment
charges on all customer delivery orders.
o Handle all the LTL Invoices and payment approval and rejection in OTM
for all LTL customer delivery orders.
o Work and complete all Failed Invoices that come into OTM and manually
match shipments to the correct invoice for payment.
o Work with our Accounts Payable Team to ensure all invoices are paid in
a timely manner.
o Analyze weekly Aging Reports from the carriers to review any past due
invoices.
o Dispute any invoices that are off in pricing with the Carrier.

o Load, create and activate new routes and files to be loaded into OTM.
o Complete any rate changes for routes and updating information in OTM
when changes occur.

Team.
Transportation Routing
o Pull the daily Iteration Report for 1165 DC.
o Work and communicate with the DC to ensure that all operations are
running smoothly.
o Use a variety of tools and information to select the proper routes
for Outbound shipments from 1165 location (Weston DC).
o Routing all incoming orders in the Transportation Management System
(OTM).
o Analyze data and change routes accordingly, to send on the most cost
effective method of transportation.
o Manually process failed orders in the OTM system based on the order
information.
o Perform system maintenance in the OTM system
o Use the VLookup to monitor data and for comparison purposes.
o Keep the dedicated zip file current and up to date.
o Export Region Detail data from the OTM system that is used create a
file for new maps in MapPoint.
o Create new maps in MapPoint based on any changes from the current
map. Create new territories and add new zip codes to ensure that
all orders are routed accordingly.
o Pull data and create Pivot Tables to monitor facility changes for
analysis.
o Notify Contract Maintenance of any changes that need to made for any
customers in the system. Check for accuracy of order information to
ensure the proper address and zip code information is on all orders.
o Work and assist CommEast with any order issues to correct them.
o Update customers to UPS only, UPS Excluded and Desktop customers in
the M120.
o Use of the AOPS system to check the accuracy of order information.
o Work with the IT Dept on any system or order issues that arise in
OTM.
o Use the Legacy Add File to create new routes to be imported into the
system.
o Pull daily end of the day reports in Exel for All Stops File Report
for the DC and carriers.
o Send end of the day 1165 All Sent file to the DC.
o Work as a team player to cover other team members who are absent.
Scheduling appointments
o Communicate with the vendors, carriers, Distribution Centers and
Cross-Docks to schedule all freight in by importance based on the PO
due date, Store outs and Ad items.
o Coordinate and monitor the inbound freight and schedule loads in to
optimize labor planning.
o Meet the daily cut off requirements for each facility.
o Communicate effectively with the facilities to help assist them in
any way.
o Update and maintain the scheduling guidelines for each facility
o Knowledge of POM, ASN's, PO Convertor and Carrier Scheduler for
accurate carton counts and standard packs for each po scheduled in.
o Assist with appointment scheduling coverage when another team member
is out of the office.
o Balance out the freight and schedule loads in to optimize labor
planning.
o Scheduling deliveries for all outbound freight with the customers.

TRANSPLACE
o Process daily Excel reports for scheduling Transplace loads.
o Schedule all Transplace loads in and update TMS system.
o Make any updates to Transplace loads based on the Exception Report
to ensure accuracy.
PAYROLL
o Calculate hours and payment for all employees at YRC location.
o Submit weekly payroll copies to our General Office for payment.
o Account for all monies taken in by check, cash or money order and
forward to our General Office.
Driver check-in/administrative
o Verify and scan all bill of ladings brought in by our drivers:
o Use a scanning machine to ensure bills are properly loaded into
the company's computer system for processing.
o Organize loads to ensure quick handling and provide this information
to the Terminal Manager:
o Prioritize expedited shipments to ensure efficient handling of
all expedited orders.
o Assist in scanning, filing, and sending loads to the dock to be
worked:
o Deliver bills to the proper dock doors for unloading of freight.
o Gather bills once the trailers have been reloaded, for
processing Outbound loads.
o Complete trailer manifests, compute and input all information
for Outbound dispatch.
o Used routing software to determine which locations to ship the
freight to.
linehaul dispatch
( Coordinate Linehaul activity to effectively utilize equipment and
personnel while meeting customer
requirements and minimizing costs:
? This requires continuous communication with Central Dispatch and
Linehaul Drivers, providing necessary information to Central
Dispatch, organizing information provided by Central Dispatch,
and communicating this information to our Linehaul Drivers.
o Notifies Central Dispatch of available Linehaul Drivers and
freight volume to be moved from the service center to other
locations.
o Identifies whether or not there are hazardous materials on
trucks by reviewing manifests and locate placards to be placed
on the trucks to identify HAZMAT material.
o Closes loads via computer transaction and print out driver
dispatch information and deliver to driver.
OS&D (OVERAGES, SHORTAGES, & DAMAGES)
( Investigates customer complaints in regards to overages, shortages,
and damaged freight.
o Enters Over-freight into the system within 24 hours.
o Promptly and thoroughly investigate all over-freight to prevent
shortage claims.
o Ensure over-freight is held in the OS&D holding area.
o Answers questions and complaints regarding services, billing,
credit, and merchandise.
o Complete reports and add comments to the system to ensure OS&D
freight is properly tracked and documented.
o Hold freight during the investigation process, securing valuable
freight. Send unresolved freight to YRC Salvage Center after
approval.
o Moniter the Undelivered Freight Report daily for freight not
cleared within 24 hours.
o Trace freight shortages by checking similar shipments loaded
before and after the short shipment.
? Call the previous loading points to search for missing freight.
o Identify and correct billing and rating errors.
o Recoup freight that is damaged. Complete all steps on the On-
Hand Disposition Checklist prior to requesting disposition.
o Perform terminal inspections on damaged freight being returned
to the shipper.
o Pull customer files on the computer system for review.
o Perform entries and report on various shipper accounts.
o Answer calls from customers or other service centers requesting
status of freight.
