Work History

GT Technologies –Tallahassee, FL 8/2006 – 1/2015

Director of Quality, Global Operations

(GT Technologies purchased Stanadyne in 8/2006)

As Director of Quality was responsible for quality departments’ budgeting process and staffing at four different

manufacturing locations in North America and Brazil for a Tier-1 supplier with 475 employees.

Was the primary contact to multiple automotive customers in North America, Europe, India and Mexico in

resolving quality problems quickly and effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Over seven years expertise responsible for evaluating customer and/or field returns for root-cause analysis and

corrective actions, as well as follow-up with detailed feedback.

Directed all quality related functions for Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new program

launches at all plant locations.

Prior to Director, was the Quality Assurance Manager for a plant of 175 employees responsible for all plant

quality issues and responsible for maintaining Ford Q1, as well as ISO9001/TS16949 certifications.

Oversaw all aspects of dimensional layout analysis and review and approval of capability indices prior to

submittal of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to customers.

Manager, Supplier Development

Key leader for a Tier-1 supplier of approximately 250 employees for outsourcing a high-cost US based

manufacturing plant to Korea, China and India.

Directed and managed two Manufacturing Engineers in researching, approving and selecting multiple off-

shore, sub-tier suppliers as well as, ensuring a safe and successful launch for each.

Traveled extensively to Korea, China and India managing a diverse global supply base.

Developed requirements for certified and non-certified suppliers and monitored quality and delivery

performance annually.

Trained and developed off-shore sub-tier suppliers’ on the pre-product quality planning phases required to

ensure successful PPAPs and SOPs for multiple new program launches as well as, running changes.

of in-house mentoring/training in the Industrial Engineering department. Work included maintaining labor

standards as well as, focusing on cost estimating and cost reduction projects for them and two additional

manufacturers.
