MAJOR DUTIES
Reports to Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer – manages staff of fourteen employees across multiple
sites.
Develop GMP strategic plan and partner with cross-functional staff (i.e. Operations, R&D, IT, Sales/Marketing) for
effective implementation.
Ensure that all registered facilities were at a state of continued inspection readiness; serve as lead company
representative for FDA inspections.
Develop annual quality goals and ensure tactical implementation plans are properly staffed, communicated across the
organization and effectively achieving stated goals.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Partnered with executive management and their staffs in implementing numerous elements of good manufacturing
practices (GMPs) at all registered facilities, including: master manufacturing/batch records, HACCP, change control,
batch records reporting, supplier quality management system, external inspection process, cleaning/sanitation systems
and an effective product recall process.
Implemented state of the art electronic Quality Management System for documents and doc ument training; non-
conformances, internal auditing and corrective actions automation underway. Implemented 21CFR11 compliant
complaint management software.
Hosted four FDA inspections, resulting in no observations or issuance of Form-483. Established internal auditing process.
Led the development of GMP requirements for e-Cigarettes. Set standards for cleaning, hygiene and training;
implemented auditing and corrective action systems. Supported periodic supplier audits.
Leading efforts to qualify transfer of equipment and brands from RAI resulting from planned acquisition of Lorillard.
Expand scope of ISO-17025 (lab accreditation) system to encompass all targeted HPHCs (Hazardous and Potentially
Hazardous Compounds).
Led numerous cross functional initiatives for reducing the cost of non-conforming product due to presence of foreign
