To Whom It May Concern:
I am interested in securing a full-time permanent position that will fully
utilize my civilian work and or military experience. I know that my
background and experience will provide an effective and successful
association with a company such as yours.
I have experience in war zones, office environments, home health care
environments, construction environments, warehouse environments and natural
environments. I have excelled in each of these environments. I have used
weapons, office equipments, construction equipment, manufacturing and
production equipment as well as tents and outdoor stoves among other
things.
I am adaptable and have experience in human relations, time management,
various computer programs, office equipment as well as various vehicles and
machinery. My experience and educational background coupled with my
enthusiasm, interpersonal communication skills, and commitment to success
will be an asset to a company that is committed to professional excellence.
I look forward to making a commitment to an organization where
opportunities exist for professional growth.
I am also able to play a role as a Contractor to assist a company in
meeting the goals it has set for itself. I utilized this role by becoming
a "Home Health Aide" while I was waiting on my new role to be assessed and
confirmed in the United States fight for Freedom. I stepped into this role
and assisted a quadriplegic on a daily basis so that he was able to live at
home with his family. Now, that I am retired, I am back in this role on an
"as needed basis" with this family.
I have also spent years volunteering with young men mentoring them and
coaching them in the fundamentals of football. I worked to instill in them
the responsibility and discipline that it takes to be a law abiding,
successful young man in the world. I led by example. I showed them that
respect begets respect. I tried to instill in them the Golden Rule.
My experience living in the desert in a foreign country has provided me
with and enhanced various professional and personal skills. I know that in
times of war you need to be adaptable, patient, detail oriented, cautious,
trusting as well as trustworthy and able to live, work and play with people
of all cultures, backgrounds and personalities. I have found that the same
holds true in the corporate world.
If you are looking for an employee who is willing to learn, who is
trustworthy, and very career-committed with a drive to achieve total
success, then please consider what I have to offer. I would be happy to
have a preliminary discussion with you or members of your hiring staff to
see if we can establish a mutual interest.
Thank you for your attention to these materials. I certainly look
forward to exploring this further.
Yours truly,
Maurice E. James
