EXPERIENCE
CHA Consulting Inc, Indianapolis, IN
January 2014 - Present
Principal Engineer VI
As the Midwest division lead process engineer, contributed on both
technical side and marketing side. On technical side, functioned as the
hydraulic modeling team leader. Performed efficiently as the lead process
engineer for General Mill's 6.5 million gallon anaerobic digester startup
service, and 1.6MW biogas to energy project; accurately predicted the
biogas production. Successfully completed planning and conceptual design of
multiple combined sewer overflow elimination and relief sewer projects;
reviewed multiple CEG deep rock tunnel project design submittals. On
marketing side, strategically won and efficiently managed the Belmont Fire
Suppression and Alarm System design through 100% design. Conducted
technical marketing on IAA deicing fluid treatment; prepared proposals for
Evansville treatment plant projects.
HNTB Corporation, Indianapolis, IN
July 2012 - January 2014 Squad
Leader, Assistant Project Manager
As the lead process engineer for the process/mechanical design, made
significant contribution to the capacity expansion at Southport AWT project
(100% detailed design, $110 Million construction cost). Successfully
delivered 100% design documents through coordinating the overall treatment
plant expansion design and assisting in project management and project
communications. Achieved capital and O&M cost savings (>$5M) through
process modeling and technical evaluations. The capacity expansion includes
a new headworks facility, improvements to primary clarifiers, upgrades to
the secondary treatment system, and a new UV disinfection facility. Also
worked on Greensburg Local Limits Development for Greensburg, IN, being
responsible for sampling plan, data analysis, and report preparation for
local limits development.
MWH Americas, Inc, Indianapolis, IN
November 2009 - July 2012
Design Project Manager, Senior Professional
Served as a design project manager (or assistant project manager) on
planning and design phase of several major projects, including solids
management facility plan update, Southport AWT expansion planning (250
MGD), Southport AWT secondary treatment system expansion (250 MGD), Belmont
AWT secondary treatment (300 MGD), and industrial pretreatment planning;
Played a major role in the treatment plant portion of the $2.2 billion wet
weather program: providing technical support; conducting alternative
analysis; investigating special technical issues; preparing reports;
organizing and leading design meetings, technical review meetings, and
workshops; managing project budget, schedule, and resources; coordinate
with other treatment plant or collection system projects. Achieved
significant cost savings through technical evaluations. Detailed project
experience is on page 5.
