Engineering Main project:

Title : Strength improvement of a gas turbine casing to

prevent fatigue failure

Description : Gas turbines casings are very vulnerable to involve

cracking in locations where there is a sudden change in cross section,

holes and sharp edges as stress concentration is locally great at these

critical points. Hence by redesign the casing in to two parts, the failures

are prevented.

Role : Designer (Creo 2.0)

Team Size : 4.

Diploma project:

Title. : Fabrication of accident avoiding system in Two

wheeler.

Description: In this project work the pneumatic breaking system is

automatically done by simple mechanism and also automatic indicating

signals while turning the vehicle. It is portable and faster than the

manual operating system and it is simple fabrication and maintenance.

I had won second prize in national level technical symposium, paper

entitled as "design and analysis of gas turbine casing to prevent fatigue

failure "at ganesh college of engineering, Salem.

Presented a paper on the topic "THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM USING PHASE

CHANGE MATERIAL" at CIET in Coimbatore.

Divisional winner in IPPA divisional tournament for men(2011-2012)

Divisional 3rd place in IPPA divisional tournament for men(2010-2011)
