Very healthy and active senior, happily married for 50 years and

g randfather of nine. Born and raised in Greece. I

f inished my Elementary and H igh School education in Greece. I

i mmigrated to the US when I was 18 year-old as a foreign student under a

F ulbright scholarship. Since 1965, I am a proud US Citizen by

Naturalization .

B achelor of Science (B.S.) with double major: Mathematics and Electron

Physics from Roosevelt University. I have done post graduate work in

M athematics and Electronics at I.I.T. (Illinois Institute of Technology) of

Chicago. Twenty six (26) semester hours of graduate work completed. My

w ith the State of Florida Department of Education, as part of the process

of obtaining the Official Statement of Eligibili ty to teach Math for grades

E xperience

For the last two years I worked as a substitute teacher for Kelly

E ducational Staffing Services of Jacksonville, Florida. During my

employment with KELLY, I taught all subjects and grades in Duval

County Elementary schools including Math and Science to 4th and 5th

g rade students. I also taught Math to DCPS Middle and H igh Schools.

As part of my employment prerequisites with KELLY, I have completed

and passed my background check and finger printing process from the

F lorida Department of Law Enforcement. I have also attended and

completed the Kelly Educational Staffing's Substitute Teacher Training

p rogram. During my

employment with KELLY I have received excellent testimonials from

School Teachers and Principals for my teaching skills and class

management performance. I can show you copies of those letters.

M y most recent t utoring experience i ncludes at-home private tu toring

for Middle and H igh School students to help students improve their grades

and achieve their full potential. I helped them to successfully pass their

ACT, SAT tests in Math, as well as Physics and Chemistry. I have also

t u tored students for Math and Science subjects for Wyzant Tutoring, Club

Z! in home tutoring and the Tutoring Club of St. Johns

Work Experience

O ther than my most recent Teaching and Tutoring work and prior to my

retirement, I worked, lived and taught manufacturing engineering,

p roduction and factory management all over the world, including China,

Russia, Middle East, South America, Eastern and Western Europe. I have

consulted and gave many t raining seminars under a multicultural and

m ultilingual environment. I have negotiated and concluded mul ti-million

dollar In ternational Engineering Projects, where H igh-Tech Equipment

and Technology t ransfers were involved.
