WORK EXPERIENCE

Worked as HR Executive for two years in Ind-Swift Ltd, a Chandigarh based

pharmaceutical company, established in 1986, ranked 35th among top Indian

Pharmaceutical companies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & PROFILE

1. TALENT ACQUISITION

. Manage Recruitment activities to ensure timely evaluation and

selection of candidates.

. Interacting with the hiring managers to understand the needs.

. Handling various sources of Recruitments like Employee Referral, Job

Portals, Vendors and utilizing social networking etc.

. Search and identify high-quality profiles. Search is conducted both

through internal repository of resumes as well as web based resources

(Naukri, Linkedin).

. Preliminary interviewing of potential candidates in order to assess

the candidate's suitability, Technical skills, Academic & professional

qualifications, experience, communication skills, etc., coordinating

with the Technical Panels for Technical evaluation and feedback.

. Ensuring that for selected candidates reference checks are being

performed and report is found satisfactory before proceeding for

salary negotiation with the candidate.

. Verify salary slips, bank statements, salary breakups of selected

candidates to confirm the details provided by the candidate are

correct as per records.

. Preparing & issuing offer letters and Appointment letters for the

selected candidates.

. Communicating to the concerned department manager about the status of

hiring and joining of candidate.

2. BUSINESS PARTNER HR

. Implement HR policies and procedures to ensure effective, fair and

consistent management of staff throughout the organization.

. Attending emails, calls and meetings with employees to provide advice

and guidance on individual employee relations cases, ensuring that

these are well managed and meet the requirements of the company's

policies, best practice and employment.

. Ensuring that managers and staff are aware of the policies and

procedures and able to operate them effectively.

. Conducting investigations on cases where violations of company rules

or serious offences are reported.

. Identify Poor Performers and facilitating in smooth exit of poor

performers.

. Conducting interview and counseling the resigned employee in case of

exit of good performer.

3. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

. Developing Training & Development initiatives for improved

productivity, building capability and quality enhancement in line with

Business requirement.

. Conducting Training Need Identification & Analysis for both Technical/

Behavioral learning programs

. Examine and evaluate trainers as per organizational context.

. Design customized training content based on the business requirements.

. Developing annual training calendar as per individual employee needs &

organizational requirement

. Partnering with line managers to solve specific training problems,

either on a one-to-one basis or in groups

. Conducting company's HR Induction Training for new joiners.

. Ensuring training feedback is being collected from each participant

after completion of training program.

4. HR OPERATIONS

. Reviewing monthly attendance of employees.

. Ensuring leaves are availed as per the leave applications and

applications are recorded.

. Preparing leave register for the month to account for leave balance of

employees.

. Ensuring joining formalities of new joinees are being take care off

well and employee has been integrated in the system properly.

. Ensuring the completion of Clearance and Handover process.

. Issuing relieving letter and experience certificates to the resigned

employees.

. Preparing and releasing Full and Final settlements of the resigned

employees after taking management approval.

5. PAYROLL

. Ensuring correct salary registers are generated along with PF and ESI.

. Upon checking, submitting salary data to Head HR.

6. EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

. Lead the administration of employee engagement survey for the local

site.

. Design engagement calendar (fun-at-work, festival celebrations,

knowledge sessions, family day etc)

. Celebrating major festivals and days such as Foundation Day, Holi

Festival, Diwali Festival, Christmas or New year etc.

. Wishing and distributing gift to each employee on his Birthday to make

him feel special.

. Arranging company's Annual Meet, Award Ceremony and events /

functions.
