Xcelys is a DELL Health Insurance Payer solutions claims adjudication product, formerly known as Diamond,

developed in SOA architecture. This product is built on many technologies and has multiple thin clients in the product

suite. Much of the business logic is implemented in PowerBuilder. The multiple applications in the product suite

interact with Web Service, EJB, JMS services using the above invocation mechanisms. It is developed for Health Care

or Insurance organizations .The major modules in Xcelys are Customer Service, Premium billing, Correspondence and

Xcelys Classic.

Responsibilities:

Extensively used TOAD, PL/SQL Developer and Sybase PowerBuilder 10.5 for daily development jobs.

Create functional and technical design specifications for enhancements and bug fixes.

Develop stored procedures, packages, triggers, and other Oracle database logic.

INNOVATION

Project: XCELYS Password reset automation tool

I developed an application/tool using Sybase PowerBuilder10.5 and Oracle, to reset the password. The applicat ion is

standalone, and the affected users are able to directly open the application and proceed to reset his/her password,

without involving the CCC team, and so bypassing the ticket creation process. Implemented the Six Sigma

methodology DMAIC to save cost of approx. $ 1666 per month.
