Machinist/Programmer/Supervisor
Advance Turning & Manufacturing Inc - February 2007 to Present
Programmer responsibilities:
Creates programs for mills, lathes, and wire EDMs, using Edgecam CAD-CAM software. Makes all fixtures for
each job as needed. Supports work cells with all program and/or work holding issues.
Machining responsibilities:
Sets up and operates Mazak and Hardinge lathes, Mazak, Haas, and Cincinnati mills, Fanuc RoboDrills, and
Mitsubishi wire EDMs. Machines exotic metals such as inconel, monel and titanium for aerospace and medical
applications. Programs Mazatrol (lathe), for the manufacturing of work holdings and tool holdings.
Supervisor responsibilities:
Supports cells with Mazak, Haas, Cincinnati mills, Mazak, and Hardinge lathes. Gives machining,
programming and quality support. Also assists with interviewing future employees and the handling of
personnel support.

Reading blueprints with GD&T. CMM and Vision system experience
CNC Lathe Operator

Manufactured products operating CNC lathes. Machined offsets, changed tooling and maintained machines
to blueprint tolerances.

Turned hard tooling from blueprint for customers by programming and operating CNC lathes. Also used
surface grinders, manual mills and lathes to machine blanks used for tooling and also machined parts.

Manufactured: prototypes, tooling (blank, pierce, form dies), (machining, assembly, checking, welding)
fixtures, gauges, and modified various parts and product for customers. This was accomplished by use of self-
designing and/or prints provided, and machine tools that consist of "Bridgeport" style mills, manual
lathes, surface grinders, vertical CNC mill, mig welder, arc welder, oxy-acetylene torch, 450 ton press, 35
ton press, radial arm drill, pneumatic hand tools.
