Neurologica, Danvers, MA
Contract 6/14/14- 10/24/14
Engineering technician in the prduct development lab for Neurologica's line
of computed tomagtography scanners. Using limited documentation and
handdrawn sketches to constucted complex cables and sub assemblies prior to
FDA evaluation and approval.
Vibro-Meter Londonderry,NH
1 Contract 5/19/12 - 10/26/12 Engineering Tech.
Engineering prototype technician for the aviation products division.
Using schematics, sketches and verbal instructions, I constructed test
fixturing, cables and prototype surface mount circuit boards for an
aviation data acquisition unit and their TDR (Time Driven Reflective)
aviation fuel gauge. This required extensive microscopic solder assembly
and using needle tip irons and heat re-flow soldering technology.
Cytonome Boston, MA
Contract 7/11-8/11 Assembly Tech.
Tested, configured and Q.C'd bio-medical cell selection and sorting devices
to customer spec. prior to shipping.
Qinetiq/Foster Miller Waltham,MA
1 Contract 8/2/10-9/28/10 Assembly Tech.
Built and wired prototype test and production chasiss units for the The
Electromagnetic Aircraft Launching System (EMALS) for the US Navy's latest
carrier USS Gerald Ford. This involved point to point wiring and routing
of cable harness's and fiber optic bundles in large and small enclosures
using crimpers, soldering irons, meters and standard hand tools.
Vibro-Meter Londonderry,NH
1 Contract 1/20/09 - 5/06/09 Assembly Tech.

GSI Lumonics Bedford,MA
Contract 8/07-12/08 Engineering Tech.
Engineering technician for the Optical Products Division supporting design,
test,de-bug, and fabrication of prototype electromechanical systems and SMT
circuit designs. Using schematics, diagrams, written and verbal
instructions, I performed operational test and fault isolation on systems
and equipment, using oscilloscopes, signal generators, microscopes, and
specialized test apparatus.
Ahura Scientific Wilmington,MA
2/07- 8/07 Final Assem. Tech
Systems test technician for the First Defender and Tru-Scan chemical
identification systems. This entailed final assembly, calibration and
product test on all units prior to shipment using oscilloscopes, power
supplies, Labview software and various hand tools. Tested and collected
data on prototype devices. Performed debug and repair of in process and
RMA units to the component level.
L-3 Communications-Essco Concord, MA Assem. Tech
Contract 10/10/06-12/22/06
Constructed and de-bugged a complex radar antenna positioning system for
installation in Taiwan. This involved working from sketches and reworked
prints using standard hand tools, crimpers and extensive soldering. I also
worked with AutoCAD LT to convert an extensive print document package from
multi-layer color dependent prints to monochrome b&w format.
Luminous Devices Woburn, MA
4/21/06 - 4/26/06
Using a microscope performed precision incoming inspection and
qualification of hybrid printed circuit boards
4 G.E. Ion Trak Systems Wilmington, MA
Contract 2/06-4/06
System technician for the Entryscan3 and 4 series contraband substance
detectors. Debugged, tested and calibrated the system using oscilloscopes,
digital voltage meters, thermocouple meters, and the systems proprietary
software.
KEM/Celadon Security Woburn, MA
7/03-2/06
Security Officer
Concepts/NREC Woburn, MA Permanent position
3/00-9/02
Built, tested and calibrated turbo-compressor control units. This required
intensive testing, data collection and graphic analysis for selection and
calibration of the electronic pressure sensors for the analog/digital
control board in the unit. Calibration was performed using a response
curve achieved by testing the devices at vacuum and pressure over a range
of -40F to +140F. Based on the results of this, compensations were
calculated and programmed into the unit's memory and re-tested. Assembly,
soldering and testing required the use of hand tools, torque wrenches, and
dial calipers, soldering and de-soldering equipment, oscilloscopes, DVM's
pressure and vacuum gauges. I also made extensive use of Excel, word and
Labview data acquisition software, and I was responsible for inspection and
qualification of out sourced PCB assemblies.
