Responsible for design and project management of industrial autoclaves for use on composites in the
aerospace industry, as well as other large pressure vessels and custom process equipment, including a
variety of thermal, mechanical and electromechanical systems and components such as burners, heaters,
cooling coils, ducts, heat exchangers and breach-style doors • Perform process and system calculations in
accordance with required design criterion, customer specifications and various regulatory body standards,
directives and ordinances, including ASME/PED/CE codes • Extensively use 3D modeling and generate
fabrication-level drawings in 2D and 3D, using Inventor and AutoCAD, as well as perform static/structural,
dynamic, fluid and thermal FEA, using CFDesign, ANSYS, Compress and FluidFlow software packages •
Manage several projects simultaneously, from design to delivery, extensively communicating with
customers on design, project schedules, production developments and installation arrangements • Generate
and maintain project schedules, coordinating activities and working closely with electrical and controls
engineering, production, sales, purchasing and upper management to ensure prompt completions of critical
milestones
Achievements/Accomplishments:
Managed, led engineering effort and created technical/compliance documentation for the TUT (Thin
Uniform Telemeter) Machine for Gillette, a complex machine used for removing thin coating of telemeter
from the edge of a razor through an automated process that incorporates pressure vessels, a gantry robot, a
conveyor system and a distillation process • Worked as lead engineer/mechanical designer on the world's
biggest autoclave (30' X 85’) for Boeing 787 aircraft components (valued at $15.5 million) • Redesigned
the company Davit Door--the most technically complex electromechanical device in company history,
incorporating the use of 3 separate actuators to achieve continuous motion of the door • Worked on and
managed over $23.5 million in various high profile projects for companies that included Boeing, Gillette
(Proctor and Gamble), U.S. Air Force (Robins Air Force Base, Tinker), LES (Luisiana Energy Services),
General Electric, UTCAS Goodridge and more

Designed mechanical components, assemblies and electro-mechanical subassemblies (sensor systems) for a
5-AXIS ROBOTIC ARM and supplementary Smart Fixtures • Performed static and dynamic FEA analysis
on designed components and assemblies • Created 3D models and 2D drawing (SolidWorks) for
prototyping and manufacturing • Manufactured selected parts using in-house, bench-top CNC machine •
Built prototypes of various subassemblies for product and process development • Worked closely with
electrical, controls and automation engineers to come up with solutions and achieve targeted system
requirements • Communicated and worked with various vendors, manufacturers and machine shops to
minimize manufacturing and prototyping costs
Achievements/Accomplishments:
Successfully designed and built latest mechanical revision of the entire Arm • Improved control service
loops through design and implementation of optical “position” sensor assemblies for all 5 actuators
(enables accurate positioning data specifically upon startup) • Designed and implemented the force
sensor assembly into the gripper • Designed, partially-built and successfully tested the “Medical Syringe
Capper-Uncapper” fixture for automation of syringe handling
SKYMASTER, INC. 17848 Maclaren St.

Designed and coordinated fabrication of building maintenance equipment, including mechanical and
electromechanical devices, support structures and suspension systems • Performed static and dynamic
FEA analysis on designed components and assemblies • Worked with and interpreted data from varied sets
of architectural plans and layouts, coordinating with architects and other contractors to ensure adherence to
contract guidelines and deadlines • Assisted and jointly worked with chief engineer in creating proposal
sets, design layouts and bills of materials
Achievements/Accomplishments:
Designed a functional improvement of company’s existing drop stage (lighter, cheaper and easier to
manufacture than previous design) • Designed an inner-tube (Versatrack) power trolley with mechanical
emergency/secondary stop mechanism • Coordinated activities on L.A. LIVE Project in Downtown, L.A.
