Capacity Relocation – Manage removal and transfer of production capacity for
Pactiv/Presto from one production site to another with no impact to customers while
providing a remediated/ optimized production facility for remaining production capacity.
Direct field labor and logistics. Developed lean production floor layouts to meet an array
of blown film extrusion and converting configurations in highly flexible processes.
Manage asset documentation and project capital closeout. Provide input for scheduling to
maximize throughput and minimize downtime for key product lines while relocating
capacity.
Capacity Restage – Manage removal of obsolete production capacity and installation of
reconfigured/updated Hefty production capacity of a key consumer product for Pactiv
Corporation. Develop and implement logistical plan to achieve project goals with no
impact to product quality and availability to market supply chains. Develop lean
equipment and utility layouts to utilize existing floor space while developing and
implementing a logistical plan to minimize impact to existing capacity.
Process Update – Supervise installation of proprietary High Speed Stacker
implementation into existing processes.

Develop injection molding knowledge base to support Hefty Designs Molded Products.
Work with outsourced molder to improve tool design and cycle times to meet production
needs. Install 750T injection molding machine in remote pilot facility to conduct in-house
DOE's and build process knowledge. Supervise contractors and run machine for DOE’s
and change tools as needed.
Develop high speed bulk roll process producing 25% additional throughput to supply
high speed converting process utilizing existing facilities. Utilized melt pump and
proprietary film cooling technology developments to realize goals.
Document and supervise removal of HMWHDPE extrusion line from a research facility
to be installed in central research facility.
Develop process data acquisition system to collect real time data and better understand
extrusion parameters as part of the overall process. Install and qualify sensors and
controls. Work with IBM to develop and implement Token Ring technology to transmit
data to remote location.
Provided technical support to installation of Cinch-Sak extrusion capacity expansion in
Jacksonville facility.
Work in polymer lab conducting tests to document Rheology, Melt Flow Index, Thermal
Analysis, film Physical Properties, Impact Resistance and chemical extraction/analysis of
polymer additives. Produced film samples and tested processes on a lab and pilot line
scale.
Acted as production Specialist for the HDPE production department utilizing in line
processes with solvent and water based inks and flexographic printing.
Commercialize bulk roll capacity in support of building converting capacity for the
Grocery Sak business.
Operated Grocery Sak development line. Conducted test runs for engineering and
documented results.
Operated in-line HDPE blown film extrusion line to produce merchandise bags for major
retailers such as Montgomery Ward, JC Penny and Sears utilizing internal bubble cooling
technology and flexographic printing.
