Perform onsite oversight and source inspection of Gas Turbine Engine components and processes. Validate parts using X-ray, FPI reports, hand tools, CMM. Coordinate with Engineering, production and quality departments to ensure process controls and improvements and facilitate nonconformance reports and root cause analysis utilizing all elements of the various Microsoft Office suites and PDF formats.

Read and interpreted complex engineering drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics. Have working knowledge of GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5. Familiar with all types of protocols including ISO and FAA regulations for compliance. US Navy, San Diego, CA. Aviation Electrician, 1986-2002

Maintained and repaired various fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft and aircraft subsystems including turbines, engines, electrical systems, lighting, power distribution and fire control systems.

Utilized precision inspection hand tools such as micrometers, calipers; dial indicators, optical comparators and height gages. Inspected with the use of a surface plate for layout and inspection; a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) "witness only;" inspected heat treated material for cracks and crazing and used tensile strength test equipment for rigidity and flexibility and preformed liquid dye penetrant tests (PT).
