Resume:

June **, ****

Intertape Polymer Inc.

Ref: Territory Sales Manager

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am very interested in knowing more about the above noted position.

I have had a very successful sales and sales management career with Bell Canada (Mobility) (20+ years) and now am looking for a new challenge. Fifteen of those years were spent in managing sales teams of varying sizes, and in managing the operations of the sales group, including planning, coaching, incentives, analysis of performance, and hiring/releasing. I have extensive experience with salesforce.com as a CRM.

Although I do not have experience in this industry, I do have a wealth of work experience with distributor networks and as a distributor (both from the wireless industry).

My elevator pitch:

I work very well in a team environment and have coached sales teams and third party sales agencies successfully for fifteen years.

I take the time to fully understand and to look at opportunities from every angle – I am a creative and flexible problem solver.

I manage personalities and opportunities from the perspective that everyone is trying to accomplish something beneficial, and my communication style is non-confrontational. This results in exceptional customer service.

I am very competitive, but you will see me as understated and confident. I treat all opportunities with appropriate urgency.

Importantly, I am looking for a great challenge and if I believe I can help your organization, I will be flexible in negotiating a compensation package. I am anxious to add benefit to your organization and I commit to doing what that takes.

I am readily available, and can provide references upon request.

Best success,

Jim Ruggles
