I am an energetic elementary teacher who loves that challenge that teaching provides. I started out the year co-teaching a third grade classroom. A couple of months into the year one of the 4th grade teachers quit and I volunteered to take over the classroom. This classroom was very rough behaviorally when I started with them, which was why the pervious teacher quit.

-Raised MAPs class average from fall to winter by 10 points in all categories.

-Took on a class that was a disaster behaviorally and turned it around to an organized classroom.

For one of the students if I could not work with him, they were thinking about sending him to a specialized school.

I was hired on a substitute teacher at the elementary school that I went to. I was then offered the position of Long-term first grade substitute teacher. I took over the classroom for the last month of school including end of the year assessments and report cards.
