I am a union benefit member representative. My job is to go to union members home and educate them about life insurance products. These products are offered through their union.
The products that AIL offer are whole life and term policies. I am also required to get referrals and help their family members and friends get life insurance protection. I field trained new people and I training inside the office. I also motivated the team and created an environment of excited and friendly competition. I am a recruiter and I am responsible for creative ideas on how to motivate and grow the team.
1-3-13 to 4/2013 Safeway (Cashier)
I provided excellent customer service, I cashier and direct customers to merchandise if they can’t find it. I multi-task different projects and got them all done by the end of my shift. I maintain healthy positive relationships with the people I work with and customers. My job was to make sure each customer had a great shopping experience when they come to my line to check out. Make sure Safeway was a safe environment.

As a pharmacy Technician I helped a lot of patients. I took in prescriptions dispensed their medications, fill their orders, answer phones, called providers to verify incorrect dosages or if a medication had a major interaction. I stocked the shelves, ordered out of stock medications, special orders, and inventory, maintain the machines and placed orders when necessary. I provided excellent customer service and communicate with the physicians to ensure the patience needs were meet. I also faxed documents, office work and administrative work for the pharmacy.
8-03 to 12/07 Target (Guest Service Team Leader)
I trained new cashiers to meet the standards of Target. If they didn’t meet the standards I personally trained them until they met the standards. I ensured quality training for the store. I hired for all areas of the store, I coached cashiers, write ups and firing. My responsibility was any department that had a cashier. (Front lanes, electronics department, jewelry department, cash office lawn and garden and the food avenue.)
I lead a team between 20 to 60 people per shift; made sure the daily goals where met for the cashiers and the store, handled all guest concerns and complaints, process payments on accounts, fraud training( how to identify fraudulent payments) office and administrative work and trained new managers from other stores.
I also motivated my peers, became a peer trainer and helped my store manager get excellent score cards for the end of the year. I worked with the HR manger and assisted with orientations, following up with applicants, filling out paper working, writing schedules, scheduling meetings, on the safety committee and attended weekly Executive meetings.

This is a work from home business. I recruited people on my team and trained them how to be successful in this home based business. I participated in team training, team building, meetings, and seminar, traveled to conventions, and stayed self-motivated. I talked to family, strangers and friends. My job was to share the information about the services we provided. I received a lot of training on personal development, staying positive and learned how to deal with rejections. I cashier for 2 years and I was a head cashier for 2 years. I provided excellent customer service, trained new cashiers and worked on the sales floor. I worked in the shoe department, clothing department and the gun department. I place orders for clothing that was out of stock, received the order, price tag the order and put the order away. I made an assignment list every day for the closing cashier.
