10/11- Present TECHNIP USA, HOUSTON, TX

Project Quality Manager- Subsea Division

Provides leadership, support and guidance for Quality activities on projects to assure that projects

are executed in accordance with the applicable Project Quality Plan throughout the design,

procurement installation and start-up phases in accordance with Client requirements. Responsible

for all Flexible System projects for Gas & Production Risers and Flow lines (Noble Alen, Shell

Mars-B, PDVSA Dragon, Anadarko Caesar Tonga, Chevron Big Foot, ATP Clipper, Shell Ursa,

BG Starfish & Murphy Medusa) and Installation projects (Shell Stones & Anadarko K2 RBGL).

Implementing and ensure compliance with Technip QMS and in accordance with the ISO 9001

standard on all projects during execution from start to close out. Leading, training and promoting

development of greater project team understanding of project expectations for deliverables qualit y

in all functional areas and disciplines. Managing service and product verification and inspection of

the project deliverables consistent with criticality assessments and regulatory obligations. Managing

project quality support functions including quality planning, preventive action, non-conformance

Led the Supplier Quality and Development engineering to improve Supplier Quality and delivery

performance. Led the root-cause analysis processes associated with supplier quality issues and

drove the application of Six Sigma tools by suppliers. Worked with suppliers in the Top Focus

program that resulted in 80 % ppm improvement. Led PPAP and APQP product qualification

activities associated with new parts and re-qualify parts as part of supplier transition projects. Led

liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to resolve quality issues.

Worked with commodity suppliers in the Top Focus program which resulte d in 60% ppm

improvement. Helped launch various new car programs on time. Reviewed and approved supplier

quality plans on new part programs using APQP, PPAP, Flow Charts, Control Plans, FMEA’s, Gage

R&R, SPC. Monitored Run at Rates, conducted Potential Supplier Assessments and Process Audits.

offs on prototype and production parts to meet engineering changes and build schedules, submitted
