SUMMARY QUALIFICATIONS

October 2012 - September 2013

Room MaMaste, MICROS, and OPERA qualified user for a fifty room hotel. Room Master was used to create, cancel, modify, and update reservations. Program was also used to accumulate revenue, assign and/or move rooms for guests to match their reservation type and accommodate any "special requests", and adjust and/or review availability for the hotel. Credit card or Direct Bill accounts were charged or refunded using this program as well as posting charges to the City Ledger.

Night Auditor - Using Room Master and OPERA, the night audit was conducted every night, processing the day to the next calendar day. Folios were reviewed for correct rates, dates, credit approval, and type of charges. Mistakes from the day were found and corrected as well as inputting any reservations collected throughout the night via fax, phone, e-mail, and extranet.

Front Desk Night Manager / Night Auditor

Upon entering on shift pass down information from the previous shift was given. All pending arrivals were reviewed and assigned rooms, taken deposits, and accommodated for any special requests. Guest services phone calls were answered and accommodated for any request. Reservations and walk ins were accomplished. Property provided company vehicle to deliver and respond to those gueats with requests. A Manager on Duty report was accomplished by the end of the shift and sent via email to all managers and staff members the following morning. Third party reservations were charged the deposits and pre assigned rooms. Early check outs were completed any any money collected was logged and dropped in safety box. Any relative pass down information was passed down to morning shift.

Runway Inn (North of Miami International Airport) September 2013 - May 2014

Upon relieving the previous agent, the house bank and previous agents' "drop" must be counted to the base amount. All relative pass down information must be acknowledged and "drop" log sheet must be filled. All reports and forms must be printed and reviewed. All expecting arrivals reg. cards, keys, and vouchers are reviewed to have the proper information and room types. All incoming reservations via fax, e-mail, phone, and direct are entered into HSS. Affiliated with Miami International Airport, Runway Inn accommodates to people who have had their flights delayed or canceled and need an established room for the rest of their stay. This would be accomplished by answering phone calls via the airport Kiosk, which is directly connected to the hotel. I would sell and establish the room rates and types and create reservations. Runway Inn offered complimentary shuttle service which I, the front desk agent, would dispatch the chauffeurs via radio commands. Throughout the shift, I would accommodate guests requests, solve everyday issues that would occur, answer phone calls, sell and check in walk in reservations. (95% average rooms sold every day since hiring date).

Protect and secure marina property overnight. Patrolling includes walking, using the golf cart, radio procedures, and AIPhone (intercom with video surveillance). Respond to any calls via marina cell phone and radio transmissions.
