OBJECTIVE

I have extensive experience in the mechanical engineering field as a mechanical designer as my work experience shows. However, I am inquiring in regards to the Mechanical Assembler position posted online for Cor-Tech LLC. I would be excited to meet at your convenience to discuss employment possibilities.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

I have worked in the engineering field for the past twenty-five years. I have held various positions during my career as a mechanical CAD piping designer in the industrial chemical plant environment. I have worked as a civil engineering project inspector and engineering technician as well as an on-site quality control representative. I also have considerable experience negotiating easement contracts as a Right Of Way Acquisition Agent.

Project Inspector - As a project inspector I was responsible for on-site inspection and proper installation of water main installation projects, waste water lift station and system installations, roadway and bridge construction projects. I was responsible for verifying material quantities, quality of workmanship, daily inspection reports, interacting with contractor, engineering, and client personnel as required. I was responsible to ensure the client received a quality project on schedule and within the allotted budget.

Engineering Technician - I was responsible for on-site density testing of aggregate base materials and asphalt densities. I also was certified as an ACI concrete technician (level I) and was responsible for on-site concrete testing and sampling as required.

Right of Way Acquisition Agent - I was responsible for meeting with property owners at their convenience to negotiate easement contracts for future projects. I would explain the scope of the upcoming project and answer property owner questions and concerns. I would attempt to insure the property owner the inconvenience during construction would be as minimal as possible and be available to discuss any concerns during and after negotiations and during and after construction. I would be responsible for consulting with client personnel throughout negotiations.

Mechanical Piping Designer - I was responsible for consulting with engineering and construction personnel, field dimensioning, using AutoCad in the design of plans, elevations, process and instrumentation diagrams, flow diagrams, detail and isometric drawings and piping specifications for the installation of chemical process piping, pumps, equipment, storage tanks and structural steel projects in the Calvert City Chemical complex.
