Territory Coordinator in Sales: Greater Birmingham area. Worked with hospital, home health,

SNF, WCC, LTAC, and physician office customers to provide excellent onsite and offsite customer

service including training, order management, pricing, service and sales coordination, proactively

facilitating transitions, and coordination of all services. I also assisted customers with invoicing,

Licensed SalesPerson: Worked with both purchasers and sellers in real estate transactions. I worked closely with the corporate relocation team assisting with homebuyers coming from other areas as well as sellers moving from our location to other areas. This required a great deal of communication using many methods. These methods were person-to-person as well as electronic. The real estate transaction consists of many functions requiring the realtor to coordinate with homeowner, the homebuyer, mortgage professional, insurance professional, inspectors, along with others involved in the transaction. In some cases the realtor is a coordinator while in others a mediator. In this position no set hours exist and the job continues until the transaction is complete. I also served as a team leader in the training of all staff in new software program to negotiate contracts in the greater Birmingham area.

Jan 2010- Feb 2012 Lincare-

Sales Representative/Healthcare Specialist: for Birmingham and Tuscaloosa metro area. . Responsible for sales and marketing of respiratory products, equipment, and medications throughout all areas of the medical community. Also demonstrating COPD and Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) educational products to physicians, home health agencies, and hospital staff. Planned, organized, and coordinated a minimum of 3 luncheons each week in the medical community. As well as directly supervise CPAP patient compliance program within the facility per Medicare protocol. Make home visits performing detailed patient assessments as well as educating and supervising patients on proper use of their respiratory medications and equipment. Responsible for oversight and implementation of the education of CHF and COPD patient population within our facility teaching them at their specific education level. This education program was designed to improve and maintain the patients quality of life through the disease process. Upon completion I then report this information and make beneficial suggestions to the Physician, home health agency, and others that participate in patient care.

Jan 2008- Feb 2012 Independent Insurance Examiner-

Coordinated and performed healthcare exams on applicants for various insurance companies throughout Birmingham metro and east central Alabama. Responsible for scheduling and delivering patient exams, which included various components including urine collection, saliva collection, blood draws, physical measurements (height, weight, chest and waist measurements, blood pressure, and heart rate), as well as taking the insurance packet to the applicant retrieving signatures on medical record releases, HIPPA, and other forms specific to the individual case. Responsibilities included maintaining the specimen, processing the sample, distributing packet to the appropriate recipients, and then overnight the specimen and paperwork to the insurance companies preferred lab.

Sales Executive/Licensed Realtor: with responsibilities including obtaining clients and representing them by marketing and selling residential as well as commercial properties throughout Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, and Calhoun counties. This was with an emphasis on new construction, relocation and individual sales through community involvement and self-promotion. Also working as a buyer’s agent assisting homebuyers in finding the most suitable property for their situation. This required helping clients organize and prioritize their needs to reach the goal. To be successful in this highly competitive industry it was necessary to set ongoing goals and reach top sales levels. After working in the industry for 2 years was designated as mentor for newly hired Realtors. Home Health Aide: Worked in the home health division. This required organizing as well as coordinating schedule to be most efficient in performing patient visits. Assisted patients with daily activities as well as assessed vital signs ensuring they were within physician set parameters.

Respiratory Therapy Tech: Transferred to position as a respiratory therapy technician then advanced into position of respiratory therapist. My shift required working independently as the only therapist in house. Carried out physician orders by performing respiratory treatments, blood gas procedures, and managing patients that were being treated with ventilation therapy throughout the hospital and intensive care unit. Being the only therapist during these shifts required that I manage these obligations while managing the duties of the respiratory therapist in the Emergency room. In this position I developed a new patient reporting system converting from handwritten forms to an electronic format allowing for ease in editing as well as reproduction of the record.

Responsible for maintaining operating lines in the facility along with communicating via telephone with field representatives installing new services as well as problem solving. During this time one of the new residential products available was high speed Internet. Home Health Aide: Through persistence acquired position of weekend home health aide while having no experience in the healthcare industry.
