March 2014 – April 2015 Human Resources Manager

Suncor & Syncrude Projects, Compass Group - ESS Support Services Worldwide, Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. ESS Support Services, a division of the Compass Group is a market leader and the largest food service company in the world specializing in food service and related facility support services to clients in remote and extreme environments. Its services extend across Canada and include such facilities as drill camps, mining camps, construction camps, permanent facilities, pipeline camps, offshore, forestry camps oil & gas installations, correctional facilities, military situations along with defence and off-shore locations. I was responsible for providing the full range of HR services at the Suncor & Syncrude Projects, comprising of over 9,000 rooms in 6 lodges with over 800 employees, responsibilities included coordination with the employee unions.

April 2013 – January 2014 Human Resources Manager

TJ’s Oilfield Contracting Limited, Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada.

TJ's Oilfield Contracting Limited was recognized as one of Alberta's premier contractor, it was a full-service construction and procurement (CP) company serving Western Canada’s oil sands and conventional oil and gas producers for nearly 13 years. I was responsible for managing the Human Resources Management and Camp & Travel Management functions. May 2011 – August 2012 Senior Human Resources Advisor

This was a temporary maternity leave replacement position. I was responsible for providing HR Advisory support to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, which is the oldest and the largest hospital in Edmonton, comprising of 678 beds, where over 450,000 patients are served annually by a team of 7,000 employees. Shell Albian Sands Energy, Inc. (Shell Canada), Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada.

Provided HR Advisory support to the departments of Mine Maintenance, Projects and Reliability & Inspections. As the HR Project Lead, coordinated the Bucyrus In-Sourcing Project for Shovel Maintenance in 2009 and then in 2010 the Finning In-Sourcing Project for Maintenance of Heavy & Medium Duty Fleets, with induction of 250 employees in these two projects, a cumulative annual cost saving of $30 million was achieved in labour and parts. Participated in the Change & Engagement initiatives towards the January 2010 integration of HR Policies & Procedures of Shell Canada into Shell Albian Sands Energy, Inc.
