Technatomy, Inc. - Director of Service Delivery– April 2011-Present. Currently manages the Federal Civilian business unit which provides support to various federal agencies both CONUS and OCONUS with customers including: Department of State, Department of Interior, Department of Education and Department of Army. Provides contract oversight and governance through the entire project lifecycle. Responsible for sub-contractor management and subcontract control, reporting and quality control. Provides day to day operations oversight for the business unit by acting as the escalation point for employee and customer concerns. Fosters outstanding customer and employee relations. Assists with attainment of corporate goals, new initiatives.

Independent Consultant - November 2009-April 2011. Independent consultant providing direction, planning, and advice to multiple government contract firms who wish to bid on staff augmentation, program management, and compliance projects within the Federal government and military market. Key responsibilities include providing business process improvement guidance, help desk set up and staff recruitment. Lead requirements gathering and definition for projects. Oversee IT project planning, technical staff recruiting and on-going business development, managing annual budgets and team of 75 IT professionals. Deputy Program Manager for a GSA contract which provided logistics support to the military.

Management Technology, Inc. - Program Manager – 1990-2000. Managed IT support and service project for the Department of Interior, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Oversaw staff of Helpdesk, Network, Email, Telephone and Administrative staff with as many as 50 employees on the contact at any given time. Assisted the company with business development initiatives as appropriate.

Computer Dynamics, Inc. - Sr. Systems Analyst – 1985-1990. Oversaw staff of programmers and was part of a team which developed budget and payroll systems for SPAWAR. Created OP-32 budget exhibits for the O&MN division of SPAWAR to submit to the Pentagon budgeting offices as well created the Controls Management System (CMS) system and payroll reporting system.

Selected Accomplishments

Manage all Interior Business Center work for Technatomy in support of the Department of Interior (DOI). Managing a team of approximately 25 employees in support of a large scale Applications development and operations and Maintenance project which maintains the Federal Personnel and Payroll System (FPPS). The FPPS system is one of the largest and most used federally run personnel and payrolls systems. This system processes and produces millions of personnel and payroll transactions every two weeks. I initiated employee recognition programs, training etc. to provide better employee satisfaction, performance and longevity of service.

Manage all OCOUNUS work for Technatomy in support of the Department of State (DOS). Challenged with managing the Language and Cultural advisory services IDIQ and various standalone contracts with the DOS which provide high level support to various bureaus and other agencies in support of the Embassy in Bagdad Iraq and a number of other locations throughout the country. This high visibility support incudes language translation and cultural advisory services to the Ambassador, Presidential level personnel and ancillary VIP’S. Initiated employee recognition programs, training etc. to provide better employee satisfaction, performance and longevity of service.

Presented with the 2007 Presidents Award, Access Systems, Inc. Selected by my peers and management to receive the President’s Award for Employee of the Year, Program Management. This acknowledgement is for excellence in Program Management as well exemplary customer service.

Managed 24x7x365 Worldwide Helpdesk for the Department of State, Access Systems, Inc. Challenged with managing the IRM helpdesk consolidation effort which provides support to approximately 45,000 end users worldwide. Developed policies, procedures, staffing profiles to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) per the contract using ITIL concepts. Initiated employee recognition programs, training etc. to provide better employee satisfaction, performance and longevity of service.

Part of a three person division which Transitioned 26 of 28 government contracts for STG under the 8(a) program to the large business program. Defense Sector was challenged to retain government contracts after upgrade from 8a to large business status. Developed strategy and action plan to preserve tasks. Initiated site visit program to build client confidence, retain current work and grow existing tasks. Enhanced customer relationships, retaining 93% of contracts, valued at $25M.

Managed a U.S. Coast Guard contract for STG which we were able to certify as a “Center Of Excellence”. U.S. Coast Guard Operation Systems Center helpdesk process and procedures were certified as a “Center of Excellence” and re-certified through BeanchMarkPortal in concert with Purdue University.
