Multi-Tenant E-commerce Platform(MTEP) development for Wal-Mart Inc stores for their online groceries business and Merchandise business across various geographical locations like United Kingdom, United States and Canada under the names of ASDA, TITAN and GMC respectively. Wipro's responsibility is to ensure the availability of supported applications as per the SLA agreed with the customer and offering various best practices to increase performance. The scope of this project includes the software infrastructure components which are above the Operating System layer but below the application customizations. This includes application server software (JBOSS), web servers (Apache), Component off the Shelf software packages (ATG Suite, STIBO, OMS, TIBCO and Oracle ORS) and the database solution used in the MTEP program. It helps in offering solutions chosen for DNS resolution, content delivery and global load balancing as well as maintains the platform high availability and provides disaster recovery solutions.

MTeP UK Groceries Enhancements 2011 named project for Wal-Mart stores Inc.’s UK grocery called ASDA. The application allows online shopping facility to the customer in Wal-Mart UK grocery site. Customers can browse through the website and place orders. The system will be developed using the Agile Development Methodology.
The post implementation support involves guiding the business users, customer service agents and other users for using the application. Also keep tracking and solving the technical errors that may occur in production environment.
