From September 2010 Head of Mechanical Engineering and

inspections and tests at ISAB Energy IGCC

Major project during this role:

- Chief of the study about the upgrading the

burner of gasificator (we changed the

metallurgy of the oil and oxigen nozzle,

old MTBF was 400 hours, new and actual

MTBF 4500 hours)

- Chief of the study about the upgrading

Uraca pump (charge oil pump to

gassificator). We changed the type of

welding inside the non return valve, inlet

and outlet. The old MTBF was 6000 hours,

the new MTBF is 10000 hours;

- Chief of the study about the upgrading

emergency pump to cool quench ring of

gassificator. We changed the guide bush

inside the vertical pump. The old material

was superduplex with welding of stellite,

now we used a particular sintetize bronze

with grafite.The old MTBF only 8 hours,

now we have a MTBF 2500 hours;

- Chief of the study about the upgrading

material of pipe with the ammoniacal

water inside fluid. In the past, every week

we had leaks caused to acid attack. The

original material was carbon steel, now,

after the material upgrade we have the

first leak after two years.

- Chief of the study about the upgrading

material of pipe with the soot water inside

fluid (Water with heavy metal, carbon,

nickel, vanadium and other solid in

suspension). In the past, every week we

had leaks caused to erosion. The original

material was carbon steel, now, after the

material upgrade we have the first leak

after four years.

From July 2014 Chief of Mechanical Engineering and

inspection and testing machines Rotary,

Steam Turbines and Gas Turbines (Ansaldo-

Siemens) at ISAB IGCC PPU CCU (Lukoil

Group, Priolo Gargallo, SR, Italy).

Under my responsibility:

- We converted one of two gas turbine,

from Syngas to natural gas in the May

2015.

- Vibration analysis of the all rotary

machine;

- Thermography about the rotation

machine, the pressure equipment, pipe,

tanks, steam traps, etc..

- Scheduling to the intervention of

maintenance and preventive check on

pump, compressor, gas turbine, steam

turbine.
