Directed all human resource functions for a non-union division of MBCI as well as regional responsibilities for two additional facilities, one union and one non-union. Managed a staff of six plus eight at remote sites. Successful at developing professional HR department and integrating function with Corporate HR group.
Major accomplishment: Reorganization of work with Operations and became recognized as a professional business partner.

Administered all human resource functions for 1200 employees in 3 plant facilities for this 50/50 joint venture between Nishikawa Rubber Company of Hiroshima, Japan and Cooper-Standard Automotive. Six direct reports included the Manager of Environmental Health & Safety. Responsibility included employee relations, safety, administration of self-insured medical plans, 401(k) plan and all company benefits, wage and salary administration, human resource legal activities, training and development and all related human resource activities.
Major accomplishment: Successfully maintained non-Union status by implementing performance development, benchmarking, merit reviews, and employee development plans. Conducted college level courses with staff by partnering with Purdue University of Technology.

Responsible for all facets of plant human resource management in a nonunion manufacturing facility.
