PROJECT EXECUTION:

I have done Blasted and painted at the following REPAIR Vessels, SEACORE LEOPARD,ZAMIL51,LAFORE900,BRITOIL53,PBPROVITER,ADAMA AQUANAUT,ESSAR BARGE,BOURBON,SM(PELICON,KIDE,OSPERY,CONDOUR).

TRAINING UNDER GONE:

I) TO CLARIFY THE SITUATION, INTERNATIONAL HAVE ADOPTED THE FOLLOWING COMMONLY ACCEPTED DEFINITION:

1.low pressure water washing – operates at pressure less than 68 bar (1000 P.S.I)

2.high pressure water washing – operates at pressure between 68-680 bar

(1000-10000 P.S.I)

3.high pressure hydro blasting – operates at pressure between 680-1700 bar

(100**-***** P.S.I)

4.Ultra high pressure hydro blasting – operates at pressure above 1700 bar ( 25000 P.S.I) with most machines operating in the 2000-2500 bar range (300**-***** P.S.I)

II)COATING SYSTEM

1.wj-4- the fast movement of the lance across the surface at a distance of about 15 cm (6”) until ”removal of loose matter”

2.wj-3- the fast movement of the lance across the surface at a distance of 2-5 cm (1-2”) until ”removal of at least 2/3 of foreign matter”

3.wj-2= the slow movement of the lance across the surface at a distance of about 2 cm (1”) until “removal of at least 95% of foreign matter”

4.wj-1- very slow movement of the lance across the surface at a distance of about 2 cm (1”) until “removal of 100% of foreign matter”

III) BASIC ASSEMBLY BEFORE OPERATION

1.An adequate cold, clean water supply to the pump inlet must be provided.

2.Check all high pressure hoses and high pressure connections.

3.Ensure the correct jetting head is selected and calibrated to suit the unit.

4.Check safety pressure disc and disc holder on pump. Check all safety shut off or dump devices.
