I am a results driven individual with the past several years of knowledge and experience in a wide variety of areas in the mining and resources industry, including pressure welding, pipe fabrication, and small to heavy fabrication. I am a highly motivated individual with ability to adapt quickly and troubleshoot problems in unexpected situations. I am a fully qualified tradesman and hold a number 7 GTAW Pressure Welding Ticket and am currently looking to further my career specifically in the gas, oil and resources industry.

Ability to mark out, fit up, fabricate and tack weld to correct dimensions with proper pre weld edge preparation

Carry out welding processes including GTAW, MMAW, FCAW, SAW, MIG

Experience welding carbon steel, chrome molly and stainless steel boiler tube on power station shutdowns

Ability to pin purge stainless steel

Stainless steel and aluminum fabrication experience

Structural site experience with comprehensive MMAW experience

Experience with boiler tube codes & tolerances

Extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of excavator and loader bucket refurbishment, and other heavy mining equipment

Able to apply temporary bracing to ensure post welded components are within tolerance and dimensions

Extensive structural steel experience from fabrication to the site installment of the structure

Extensive experience with the fabrication of wear alloys such as bizloy and the special requirements these wear alloys call for

Experience with orbital welding and hard facing of components including tuffpac tungsten hard facing

Certificate in Engineering and Fabrication

Number 7 GTAW certificate

Current (OH&S) white card

Working at heights

Confined space ticket+(gas testing)

Current forklift ticket
