- Pioneered use of a new class structure which better modeled the hardware devices resulting in a highly reusable design that significantly decreased software complexity and increased software scalability.

- Significant contributor to team software process improvement initiative resulting in an SEI CMM Level 4 assessment.

- Redesigned a critical component of the graphics processing system. The resulting software processed operator actions, which used to require hours, virtually instantaneously.
