for specific texts within files and exploring a directory subtree. It involved windows socket programming, C++11 threads and STL.

Comprehensive study of Tizen Operating System (Mobile Operating Systms, Syracuse University, NY ) (Oct 2014 – Dec 2014)

Performed a comprehensive analysis of Tizen OS architecture and its security model. Compared it existing popular OS like Android and IOS.

VPN server & client (Internet Security, Syracuse University, NY) (April 2014 – May 2014)

Created a simple VPN client and server system to tunnel any type of data over UDP packets for Linux platforms.

Features include multiple client capability, server authentication (using PKI), client authentication (using credentials), data encryption &

validity. It involved socket programming, IPC, OpenSSL lib and sqlite lib.

Email Ranking & Classification (Intro to Artificial Intel., Syracuse University, NY) (Nov 2013 - Dec 2013)

Wrote a Bayesian- k median hybrid classifier in C# to rank and classify emails on Windows platform.

Feature set selection based on tf-idf values of words in corpus. Ranking implemented using Bayesian classifier, classification by k -median

SQ Analyst (Symantec Software Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, India) (Aug 2011 - July 2013)

Wrote several tools, plugins and scripts in C++/C# to automate test cases.

Wrote a C# tool which got implemented companywide to automate upload of test cases into Symantec’s test case management system.

The tool parses through an excel book for context instances and using system’s REST APIs uploads them into the system.

Other responsibilities included black box testing, code reviews, security audits and ownership of a couple of internal team servers.
