Recognized Leader in Foodservice Sales Management. I have been fortunate enough to have lead some of the finest sales people and foodservice brokers in the industry. I have been personally responsible for opening new branded product sales through national account promotion and pull-through; planned, sold and orchestrated line consolidations exceeding 2 million pounds per year and lead a direct sales team to the top of a fortune 500 company’s sales organization in new item sales. Further, my sales team grew business with a distributor from 200,000 pounds per year to 1,000,000 pounds in sales within 16 months.

Turnaround Management / Start-ups / Mergers and Consolidations. Currently working on a distributor district turn-around and have moved the district from 7/7 position to 4/7 position. Established a new foodservice division as the National Foodservice Manager for a “star” company. After 6 years of this process, my division is tracked 24% growth over previous year’s sales. The newly formed division started with approximately $800K in sales and I moved this to $4.2M. Previously, at Smithfield Packing, I successfully managed a region through 4 separate changes in distribution centers, two mergers, consolidations and a conversion to SAP. I have extensive experience within start-up foodservice divisions and rapidly expanding growth companies.

National Foodservice Manager, Louisiana Fish Fry Products, Ltd., Baton Rouge, LA, July 2007 to February 2014. Established and developed new foodservice division, creating all infrastructure, policy and strategies to expand nationally.

Region Sales Manager, Smithfield Foodservice Group., Lockhart, Texas November 1998 to June 2006 Covered 5 states (TX, AR, MS, LA, TN). Region’s sales up to $34 Million per year.

Region Sales Manger, Gardenburger, Inc., Foodservice Division, Plano, Texas April 1997 to September 1998. Hired by the National Sales Manager who was previously a Zone Director with Nabisco and had initially hired and promoted me there. Foodservice division downsized September 1998 after a corporate marketing disaster.

Corporate Accounts Mgr., Diamond Crystal Specialty Foods, Inc., Nutritional Products Division, Plano, Texas October 1996 to March 1997. Managed 20 national accounts with annual sales of $3.5 million. Focus was on long term care providers and contract feeders with 100 to 1,800 units: ARAMARK, DAKA, Wood Company, HCIS, Horizon, Good Samaritan and Sun Healthcare Group. Diamond Crystal & Menu Magic Foods merged 10/96. Division Sales Manager, Menu Magic Foods, Inc., Healthcare Division, Plano, Texas February 1996 to September 1996. Hired by the V.P. of Sales who had been the Zone Director at Nabisco that I reported to as a Regional Sales Manager and who was thoroughly familiar with my abilities and performance.

During 1995, region produced the top Territory Sales Manager in the company and was named New Jersey Restaurant Association “Manufacturer of the Year” largely due to success with chain accounts and on-site feeders.
