- This application provides information about the Theaters, which is in selected City of Turkey. Vision movies, coming

movies are shown in table view and also map is provided to draw way from current location to theater.

• Developed GUI by using XML Layout and Web Service by using C#

• Interacted with web service using JSON data format, consumed and parsed the data to display it on table view

• Used Google Maps Android API to display user location and draw route

- During my summer intern, I was working on mobile application in IOS. This application provides information about the

Cukurova University events, announcements, university map, daily dining hall information and page for candidate

Online Music Listening Platform, Software Developer May 2011 –

May 2013

- Our system is designed to help people to find new music by giving them some recommendations with the help of our

unique rating system. Location based data collection gives an idea which part of the world listening what kind of music.

On the other hand, users are able to do everything that most of music websites offer such as searching music, creating

playlist, seeing what other people are listening etc. With social media integration, visitors have many other features such

as sharing music on social media and seeing what their friends are listening.

• Extensive use of JavaScript and JQuery to develop dynamic web applications for enhanced user experience

• Perform debugging, bug fixing unit testing and integration testing

• Used CSS style sheet and HTML for presentation layer, front-end development

PROJECTS

Anomaly Detection in Hadoop Cluster: Python February 2015-

May 2015

- This project detects anomaly nodes in hadoop cluster. Machine learning techniques are applied for data that are collected

from machines and hadoop metrics by using Ganglia framework.

BST based Map: C++ February 2014-May 2014

- A map template, similar to STL map, is created on a binary search tree with all APIs. In order tree traversal algorithm

was implemented within the insertion function (O(logn) insertion time complexity is preserved) to run the sorted iterations

Complete Distributed Hash Table: Java February 2014-

May 2014

- Implemented a complete distributed hash table with Chord protocol including all of the methods such as join, remove,

stabilize and so on. Apache Thrift definition file was used to get certain interfaces of the classes.

MultiFunctional Language Translator (MLT), iPhone Project: IPhone App September 2013–January 2014

- This project is implemented as a term project. It is for new language learners and tourists. User is able to convert voice

to text, text to text and image to text. Working copy and demo can be provided upon request.

• Improved GUI with ECSliding View Controller, Image View Controller

• Used Tesseract OCR for image conversion, iSpeech SDK for speech recognition, Google API for text to text and

text to voice translation, and libsqlite3.0 for database connection and to save translated texts and favorites texts.

Binghamton University, SUNY Senior Project: Galorath Company September 2012 –

May 2013

- This Windows desktop project measures the estimating time, resources, expenses, and risk with given excel or xml file,

or manually entered data.

• Maintained existing project and fixed several bugs

• Changed user interface to make more user friendly
