Field Service Representative: Responsibilities included but not limited to composite repair, software updates, component replacement, engine test and ground run ups plus overall troubleshooting and repair of the RQ-7B (Shadow-200) drone aircraft and the ground support equipment such as the Rail Launcher and Control Station.
Position required travel to various sites (sometimes remote) and was responsible for all black box data from the unmanned aircraft (drone) and control stations, ensuring they were properly downloaded, saved, and secured, and returned to the plant for the engineers to analyze. Additionally, provided oversight and assistance when needed with installing the latest system modifications to all unmanned air vehicle systems located throughout southern and central California.
Furthermore, as the senior Field Service Representative, it was essential to coordinate with the supply department to ensure Camp Pendleton had an adequate inventory of spares and consumables valued at or above $1,000,000.
Played a vital role at the company and to the customer by continually developing and maintaining a good relationship with Camp Pendleton’s unmanned aviation community.

As a civilian contractor, accompanied Army units on 4 separate deployments to Iraq to help maintain proper operation of all unmanned air vehicle systems.
While deployed to Iraq, prepared detailed reports on unmanned aircraft incidents and gave estimated cost of repair.
On one occasion, repaired a damaged unmanned air vehicle on site, reducing cost of repairs from an estimated $150K to less than $50K.
Modified aircraft for addition of GPS tracker without affecting the weight and balance of the aircraft.
