internal and external work flow during a peak business period (averaging 3,200 supported employees a

Arizona Army National Guard, Papago Military Reservation, Phoenix, AZ

State of Arizona military pre-mobilization training director providing objective third-party quality verification

that all pre-deployment training of Arizona Guard employees was conducted in accordance with applicable

regulations, orders and directives; managed HR administration section and training team validating unit

performance and readiness.

Hired staff, resourced and implemented the Mobilization Training Branch program with the mission of

planning, conducting and validating in-state pre-deployment training and preparation of soldiers for combat

operations overseas; a revolution in Army training methodology resulting in more thorough training and

deployment time on the ground overseas. Developed, executed and managed budget.

Coached and Mentored to unit commanders and leaders preparing them for the personal and professional

402D Training Brigade, FT Bliss, El Paso, TX 2005 – 2007

Directed training and mobilization support Army Reserve and National Guard units in Arizona, California,

Nevada and the Joint Mobilization Center, Fort Bliss, Texas. Oversaw operations of five subordinate

battalions in three states, five training Task Forces at FT Bliss and a civilian work force totaling more than

1,000 people.

Implemented planning, training, executing and effectiveness of post-mobilization training for more than

14,000 Army National Guard, Army Reserve, Active Army, Air Force and Navy personnel deploying to Iraq

and Afghanistan.

Led functional planning, control and implementation of brigade training programs by developing, reviewing

and providing guidance for non-mobilized personnel in the five organizations in California and Arizona.
