I am Mechanical graduate Engineer and certified in Corporate Finance and Professional Management. During my career I have served with different multinational companies (AES, NOMAC, National power and Wapda) of Power and Water desalination in different countries including United Kingdom (EMEA Regional AES Head Office covering Europe, CIS, Asia and Middle East businesses), Saudi Arabia (Main Head Office NOMAC managing all Power & Water Desalination plants of the Company), Sri Lanka, Qatar and Pakistan. Negotiation and review of Power & Water Purchase Agreement (PWPA), Fuel Supply Agreement (FSA), Operations & Maintenance (O & M) Agreement, EPC contracts with respective parties. As an operations manager was responsible and accountable for the continuous safe, environmental compliant, reliable, and efficient operations and maintenance of operational areas. Also providing leadership, coaching, counseling, advising, and teaching others through day to day contact with team members, meeting system load requirements of the plant and maintaining power plant equipment. At NOMAC and AES Electric (Head Offices), I was responsible for driving the technical and operational performance of the businesses. I was responsible for the Company’s consolidated performance reporting and synthesizing the data to help steer the Company fleet towards ever improving operational and maintenance performance. Operational & Technical Role (Asset Management Role)

Initiating and approving the operational objective setting, performance reviews and the development of improvement plans through Company’s standard Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Peer to Peer Reviews and the budget setting process. P & L Management (Gas Turbine Uprate): Heat Rate and Output Capacity Improvement Plan: Total capital cost of the project USD 550K with GT improvement in output of 2.1% and heat rate of 1.2% in open cycle. Also following the HGPI and GTG up-rate at AES Kelanitissa, conduct the performance test to verify the performance improvements

Developed Excel templates for Capacity and Output energy revenue invoices

Thoroughly studied the effects of plant frequent starts and stops and hence furnished the recommendations named as “Two shift operations effects” while working at IPP KAPCO

Developed economical operating procedures to minimize the plant auxiliary consumption (up to 10% of the total auxiliary consumption) with the best possible way to run the plant in an economical fashion
