worked as a Trainee in the Urban Transport Division.
o An exhaustive economic analysis of the COLABA-BANDRA-SEEPS Mumbai metro corridor in Mumbai within a broad framework
of Social cost-benefit analysis technique.
o Compared the incremental cost and benefit streams (including tangible and non - tangible costs and benefits) over the years to
calculate the economic viability of the project in terms of EIRR (economic internal rate of return) using MS Excel.
o Studied the financial viability of the project in terms of FIRR (financial internal rate of return) and its possible sources of
financing.
o Sensitivity Analysis of the EIRR w.r.t a 10% increase in the overall costs of the project and a 10% reduction in traffic
materialization was done separately.
