LSI was a diversified electronics company, developing storage systems and specialized computer chips. NetApp is the largest data storage device
maker in the US. NetApp acquired LSI’s storage device business in September 2011. Wichita operations were responsible for RAID data storage
equipment design and assembly, selling through multiple OEM’s including IBM.
Operations Accounting Manager – Wichita KS 6/2005–3/2012
Directed budgeting, reporting, and forecast functions for Operations Management group. Worked on site with contract manufacturer in
Guadalajara Mexico, playing key role in implementing and troubleshooting issues with inventory, costing, and product movements.
Oversaw and approved billing received from Contract Manufacturer. Developed Operations Accounting function at LSI, hiring 80% of
staff externally to form group. Utilized Oracle (3yrs.), SAP (4 yrs.), SAP BPC consolidation module, and Microsoft Office applications.

Ledger functions. Supervised staff of three, facility employed 461 employees. Utilized Oracle, company proprietary forecasting and
scorecard software, along with Microsoft Office applications.
Accomplishments:
• Restructured department functions through staffing cutbacks, maintaining and improving key reporting while staffing reduced
50%.
