Successfully completed over 80 shipments through the use of Sa nduhr Anzeige

Program (SAP) to over 5 different automotive companies both cross country and

other international locations.

Managed over 25 logistics personal, ensuring proper movement of product is done

throughout the plant, and make it to its destined location within the facility in a quick

and safe manner.

Ensured that all Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) standards are

met based on proper training and appropriate supervision.

United States Marine Corps

The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is a branch of the United States Armed Forces

responsible for providing power projection from the sea, using the mobility of the U.S. Navy to

rapidly deliver combined-arms task forces. It is one of seven uniformed services of the United

States. Created in 1775, the Marine Corps has been a component of the U.S. Department of the

Navy since 1834 working closely with naval forces for training, transportation, and logi stics.

Logistics Specialist- (Current Rank of Sergeant -E5)

2002-2014

Established process of receiving and distribution of materials arriving in Okinawa,

Japan to its proper destination through the use of the most economical means

necessary.

Moved an estimated 4,862 items of military equipment, several motor vehicles plus

rolling stock. This was completed and arrived to the customer within an immediate

timeline utilizing local contracted trucking companies by the name of Common User

Land Transportation (CULT) and National Air Cargo.

Supervised over 23 Marines, ensuring professional and technical training as well as

assigning and auditing daily tasks and deliverables.

While stationed in Okinawa Japan, I played a vital role in our tracking and tracing

department. With this responsibility the use of Global Transportation Network

(GTN), National Radio Frequency In-Transit Visibility server, which utilizes Radio

Frequency Identification (RFID) tags. With this vital databases, we have managed to

ensure that all logistical support arrives at its proper destination. Further use of these

systems extended to Australia during an international exercise.

Mentorship was conducted to maintain proficiency and morale within the sections

and other jobsites as assigned.

Improved tracking and tracing capability of all incoming equipment by effectively

implementing a new type of interrogator in different locations within Australia .

Audited and ensured a pinpoint visibility of high value equipment in support of a

joint operation hosted by the host continent.

I have assisted in office administration for the Distribution Management Office,

through the use of book keeping knowledge and organizational skills that I have

developed over my extended military career.

During joint task force operations with multi -national forces, ensured the United

States and Australian military forces received equipment, food and supplies within

the prescribed timeline.

Supervised three Marines liaisons between myself and both local and homeport

logistical contacts for transportation assets to be readily available for JTFO.

Managed the receipt and distribution of equipment in the Philippines with the use of

incoming military aircraft and land transportation via local contracted trucking

company PRO-LOG Philippines, Inc.

Managed constant flow multiple supply chains in numerous sections of the Cargo

Movement Operating System (CMOS) and Automated Manifest System (AMS) that

is utilized for booking, tracking and tracing of equipment, re -establishing high

visibility of equipment and military goods around the world.

During my tour in Okinawa Japan, I served with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit

(31st MEU) as a logistician for the command. During this time I assumed the

responsibility as a supply chain clerk/manager. Within this role, my team and I,

ensured the appropriate accountability of both equipment and parts, to include the

distribution to appropriate customers in a timely manner. While in an exercise with

the Philippines Army, I have had in more than one occasion, provided supply and

transportation support, this included, engine parts for vehicles, food, and ammunition.

While working in Marine Forces Reserve Louisiana I have managed the accounts of

numerous reserve units around the country and abroad through the use of an excel

database, which quantified all spending’s, ensuring that all accounts for government

transactions are monitored and approved prior to a purchase being made.

Maintained an excellent filing system which involved numerous accounts and

spending receipts. This system became vital role when government auditors and

investigators required information i f fraud waste and abuse was accruing within the

reserve component.

Worked as a safety coordinator during my tour of duty at Marine Corps Base Camp

Pendleton California. After attending a course on Occupational Safety Health

Administration (OSHA), I played a vital role to ensure that all regulations were met

providing training for all other military and civilian personal and ensuring that

awareness of safety guidelines are met and followed to ensure that day to day tasks

are accomplished in a safe and sufficient manner.

Managed the training database for all Marines under my charge . To ensure that all

were properly equipped, with both the knowledge and knowhow, to become better

leaders and work as a well cohesive unit. Further use was, ensuring that a proper

schedule is made and maintained for proper dissemination of information and section

coverage is established.

Assisted in the organizational purchase of supplies and other material that is required

for mission completion, such as safety equipment, uniform items, and office supplies.

Assisted in the management of personnel with a count of nine Marines in a highly

populated and stressful environment during the peak of our receiving and distribut ing

of household goods season.

Consulted in the improvement of numerous tracking and tracing systems and data

software. This position is normally awarded to a high level supervisor, – upper

management or executive officer.

Supported all logistical activities on heavy ground and rail operations – expediting

proper ground transportation for vehicles and equipment through the most

economical means necessary.

Expedited over 82 transportation request totaling over 888,812 pound of freight and

vehicle movement distributed through various trucking companies.

Managed over 13 Marines while working in Camp Pendleton CA. This location was

the center of receiving and distribution for all freight, vehicles and household goods

entering the United States from the Pacific and having a destination to anywhere on

the West Coast.

During the time that I was serving in Camp Pendleton California, my skills as a

bilingual speaking individual have come in effect to ensure that communication is

passed down properly, and confusion is not played in the effect of our day to day

operations. Thus, bridging the gap within our language barrier.

Provided assistance in the movement of Military Personal and their families in

support of Permanent Change of Station (PCS), or unit moves to their destinations of

operations. I have managed to move over 25 plus families and their house hold goods

to their next duty station, to include some pets. Further assistance was based on the

movement of countless reserve units around the country to several international

operations, in support of both, international relations through coalition forces, and

preparedness in training.

During my enlisted career, I possessed secret security clearance that allowed me

access to numerous restricted government areas and the knowledge of information

that shall remain confidential. These tasks were entrusted to myself due to an

extenuating process of trust and research.

Throughout my military career, I have spent 75% of my time in a warehouse

environment. My responsibilities within the vicinity was to ensure that all receiving

packages are processed promptly and distributed to the ultimate consignee. I have

processed over 3,467,300 pounds worth of equipment, and nearly 80,000 parts. This

was all in support of all Marine Corps installations around the globe.

I have provided further support for over 60 units around the world, moving 97% of

their equipment through the use of truck loads and less than truck load, air, ship and

rail movement to support either training or contingency operations. This included for

operation Iraqi freedom and enduring freendom.
