To Whom It May Concern:
I worked with Ms. Hayes during the 2014-2015 Fifth Grade year. Ms. Hayes was assigned as a
Dedicated Aide to a Fifth Grade student. I found Ms. Hayes to be dependable and fair with our students.
The students grew to respect and depend upon her accountability and integrity.
Mrs. Hayes was assigned to one student. However, she was able to place her student within another group
and provide support to the entire group of students. The benefits to the group were twofold. Her actions
provide an air of equality to all of students in the group. Plus, she was able to maintain a strong working
environment that to keep the students focused and on track.
The working relationship she established with her identified student also existed with many of the
students in the Fifth Grade. I believe Hayes’ sense of humor played a major role in the student’s positive
behaviors. This served as a means of encouraging the parents to be more involved with the class and the
PTSA.
In addition to monitoring her student’s academic performance and her behavior, Ms. Hayes provides an
enormous amount of support in the preparation process of my class. She added additional support with
our technology infusion. The application of technology in our Reading and Language Arts classes was
most effective for our highly diverse population.
Ms. Bell provided an enormous amount of support in many areas. The students were able to utilize her
skills, the extra time and support. We all benefited from her presence.
Respectfully,
Ms. Colson
