The job presented itself as an opportunity to assist a business in need of great improvement. Originally recruited for this job, it is viewed as a challenge to regain market share in the Electrical and datacom markets in Pensacola. The position is an ongoing project with success in acquiring multiple new customers as well as repaired relationships with existing/ expired partners. Included, but not limited to, duties of this role are customer relationship cultivation, sales, marketing, prospecting, quotation, and business development.

This job originated as a part time position in sales support. For the first year I managed customer accounts and helped to facilitate daily procedures. Began full time in late 2010 as an outside sales professional. Within 4 months I was promoted to a General Manger position to a store location nearby. Over the course of my time with Fastenal I had a tremendous amount of success with store growth and profitability, averaging 50% or higher growth. My management duties included all areas of running a business such as: Scheduling, inventory control, customer relations, operations, accounting, finance, marketing, etc. I left this position on great terms having broken 5+ year records on more than 4 occasions in the full year of 2012.
