across the product lines.
* Create standard work instructions for assembly processes for different products to
standardize and streamline the process.
* Create new test procedures and updating the existing ones to be CLMS compliant.
* Design new fixtures for both assembly and test processes to reduce the lead time
for assembly and testing.
* Troubleshoot the assembly and testing processes of products in case of
non-conformances.
* Perform root-cause analysis for failures that occur in assembly and test processes
and to implement corrective actions.
* Work with planning and schedule the assembly and test of tools to improve the On
Time Delivery.
* Responsible for reviewing the capacity utilization and preparing CAR for new
assembly equipment.
* Create, update and maintain product routings to keep track of work order variance.
* Create and review HARC’s for safe operation of pressure controlled tools and for
equipment movement.
* Incorporate and ensure that A&T operations are HSE compliant.
* Conduct internal audits as per API Q1 and ISO 9001 requirements.
Business Expansion Project- Liner Hanger products:
Responsible for assembly and test process of new product line for completions
segment. Involved in the launching process of this product line since Q2 of 2012.
Successfully assembled and tested 8 products of this product line. Championed the
acquisition of new fixtures for assembly of these products. Designed the test
fixtures and established the testing process of the various products. This is now a
functioning product line that contributes to 35% of the revenue to the center.
Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma Projects:
* Elimination of Non-conformances on Upper Piston Assemblies by performing RCA
leading to a total savings of $116K
* Rework and Scrap Reduction for Hold Down Assembly by designing new fixture leading
to a total savings of $45K
* Cycle Time Reduction of 62% on HCHR LH by stream lining the assembly process using
VSM techniques.
* Performed time study on the piston sub assembly process to identify the bottle
neck. Acquired and installed a new machine to meet the demand and increase
throughput from 40% to 85%.

Sept 2012
* Create, review and approve ECO (Engineering Change Order’s) to help resolve
engineering issues that arise during manufacturing.
* Conduct Kaizen events, monthly in 5S events and audits to track manufacturing
efficiency for each cell.
* Review the RONs (Report of Non-Conformance) to help identify areas of improvement
and reduce rework and scrap.
* Provide Design for Manufacturability for new tools developed by NPD team.
* Lead work process standardization throughout the manufacturing shop by creating
standard work instructions and standard fixtures.
* Identify and lead process improvements and variability reduction efforts using the
Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
* Coach and mentor new Manufacturing Engineers to carry out their daily job
responsibilities.
Continuous Improvement Project: Performed process capability analysis on the Upper
–Sub (component for a TRC valve) to reduce the RON from 64% to 5% which lead to a
cost savings of $120K. The process involved changing the GD&T on certain dimensions
on the drawings and designing new fixtures to optimize the process capability.
Blitz USA- Process Engineer Jan 2010 – Sept 2011
* Implementation of SPC techniques to ensure process stability and drive continuous
improvement decisions.
* Support new product development through APQP system for product launch – process
flow using process flow diagrams, DFMEA, PFMEA, process layout and process metrics.
* Responsible for providing training to production personnel in the operation of new
equipment and the implementation of new manufacturing processes and procedures.
* Respond to manufacturing problems by investigating and resolving such problems to
assure a continuing flow of production.
Assist in the introduction of new products through tooling and production equipment,
bill of materials, structuring manufacturing instructions and other documentation.
* Perform root cause analysis to find the machine down time reasons and then design
corrective actions to improve the OEE.
* Perform capacity planning of all the products across injection and blow molding
plants which guides the production team to schedule the required machinery and man
power to meet the customer demand. This also acts as a tool for management to make
decisions for new machinery requirements and over head count for the next fiscal
year.
* Develop cost estimates for new and changes to existing products and performs
make-versus-buy analysis.
* Determine the proper test arrangement and ensure the availability of specialized
equipment in the Regulatory lab to follow the testing protocol specified by the TSG
and UL for fuel containers.
* Implement production routing, assembly aids, labor standards for shop floor.
* Installed the PLC based Machine Monitoring System (Allen Bradley) using the
Rockwell software Factory Talk Metrics and RS View32
Business Expansion Project: Participated in the setup of a new facility layout that
involved the installation of 10 blow molding machines to accommodate the customer
needs of custom blow molding. Created the machine layouts keeping in mind the
process optimization and labor minimization. Redesigned the warehouse space to meet
the needs of the increased production in new facility.
Continuous Improvement Project:
* Championed the Kaizen project for redesigning the machine parts inventory system
to reduce the downtime caused on machines by building and introducing the work order
