Engineering Intern : R &D Lab J une 3,
2014 – January 16, 2015
• Project lead assist: Assisted the engineering manager with the development of Meat Freezer
P rototype. Helped with reviewing 3-D CAD model and aided in designing the components such
as evaporator fan shroud.
• Designed parts such as brackets & components used for production line using Inventor Sheet
Metal drawings.
• Assisted the engineering team with product failure analysis. Failed parts had to be identified
and recorded. Created a excel spreadsheet that kept t rack of all failures for the warranty
department.
• Assist in lab testing, setting up test fixtures for National Sanitation Foundation & Energy
standard testing.
• Light CAD Duties, documented problem diagnosis & repair
• Created product manual for H & K product for the sales department.
ENG I N EE R I NG PROJECTS
Disc Sensing Basket P rototype : J anuary
– A ugust, 2014
GOAL - To design a futuristic basket used in the game of disc golf. Designed focused on creating a
basket that can automatically sense multiple discs falling into it. Design team used a retractable jaw,
counterweights & a push button sensor integrated along with Arduino to successfully design and built
t he prototype. The built prototype would f lash LED lights as the discs fell into the basket.
Pneumatic Arbor P ress on ANSYS :
M arch – July, 2014
Team used a geometric pneumatic arbor press model created in Solidworks and imported into ANYSYS
Workbench to do stress, deformation & loading analysis for 90 o V bent of materials like structural steel,
a luminum and titanium. Team also conducted stress and fatigue analysis on the assembly using
A NSYS finite element analysis software.
