EXPERIENCE: Stevens Institute of Technology, ECE Department, Hoboken, NJ
Research Assistant June 2014-September 2014
Designed a zigbee-sensor security system for outdoor camping, which can
alarm the user remotely when invaders enter the area.
Implemented the hardware based on CC2530 and pyroelectric infrared sensors.
Coded the embedded program using C programming language.
Implemented the LCD display driver based on SPI protocol.
Computer Control Company Ltd. of DUT, Liaoning, China
Embedded Hardware Engineer March 2012-February 2013
Designed control circuit board for moulding machine using AD6.
Developed, soldered and tested circuit boards for a tension sensor.
Draft schematics and PCB layouts.
Designed and tested PLCS
Electrical Lab, Shenyang University of Technology, Liaoning, China
Student Assistant September 2011-December 2012
Designed a library robot based on AVR and C51 to participate in the Fifth
“Mitsubishi Electric Automation Cup” and had the summary published in a
national magazine.
PROJECTS: Smart Home Control Center
Build a home automation control Center on Raspberry Pi, running Python
script on Linux system. With this center, users can monitor the camera,
temperature and humidity, control lights and all the infrared controlled electric
appliances such as TV and air conditioner through IoT.
Multi-task Timer API for Real-Time Operating System
Developed multi-task timer interfaces for a real time embedded system based
on Pthread library using C language. And graded this project for graduate
students.
Bluetooth Obstacle-avoidance Car
Led a team of 4 to implement a bluetooth obstacle-avoidance car based on
Arduino. The car tried to find the signal source automatically.
Face recognition Software based on NVidia CUDA SDK
Used NVidia CUDA SDK and OpenCV library to implement shape context
algorithm, which could run on graphic cards of PC parallelly, accurately and
very fast.
