Reason for Seeking Employment
• I am 58 years of age, in excellent health, greatly enjoy the people I work
with and the interesting and fast paced work environment 1300 employees
bring to the table on a daily basis. I am eligible for retirement with an
excellent retirement package from my current employer provided I do not
enter the same retirement plan group in Arkansas. I look at numbers and
realize the opportunity to seek employment with another excellent group of
people is an opportunity that will only come once in life. The HR
experience my current employer has given me as the Executive Director of
Human Resources for the last eight years has greatly enhanced my abilities
as an HR Generalist to such a degree that I could provide valuable HR
leadership for the right team should the right opportunity arise. Therefore, I
am considering retirement with my current employer and reemployment
working outside the school system as required by the Arkansas Teacher
Retirement System
