I was honored to become a member of the team at Skateland Chandler in April of 2011.
I n December 2012 I became the Safety Director. As Safety Director I was responsible for
m aintaining a line of communication with any guests who had suffered any kind of injury
while inside the facility. This includes follow -up calls, area inspections, report reviews, and
sending those guests get well cards.
In December of 2012 I also became an Operations Manager. The responsibilities with this
position included opening and closing the building, bank deposits, daily revenue reports,
m aintenance of guest interactions, supervision of payroll costs, supervision of anywhere
f rom 4 -10 employees at a time, and driving guest counts by booking birthday parties and
groups.
In March of 2013 I took on the title of Birthday Manager. I was responsible for overseeing
approximately 13,000 birthday party guests, annually. This involved following up with any
pending parties, catering t o the various requests by guests, and organizing the flow of all
p arties for the Birthday Hosts.
In September of 2014, following my success as Birthday Manager, Operations Manager, and
Safety Director, I was promoted to the full -time Sales Management position. 14 days later,
however, I was promoted to General Manager.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Monitoring revenue on a daily basis
-Being accountable for all expenses incurred by my facility
-Leading a team of 30+ Team Members in order to develop them and ensure their success
-Leading a team of 3+ Operations Managers in order to develop them and ensure their

Due to the structure of the corporation I work this position is as close as an individual can

n otebook was one of five chosen by my professor to be presented to the NSF
representa tives, as they required examples of work being done with the machines.
